Grant McCasland
Grant McCasland (born October 14, 1976) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head coach for Texas Tech Red Raiders. McCasland previously coached at North Texas from 2017 to 2023, where he guided the Mean Green to two postseason tournament championships: the 2018 College Basketball Invitational and 2023 National Invitation Tournament. Prior to that, McCasland had previously been an assistant at his alma mater Baylor and as head coach at Midwestern State, Midland College Midland College (MC) is a public community college in Midland, Texas. 2021 Conference USA Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2021 Conference USA men's basketball tournament was the concluding event of the 2020–21 Conference USA (C-USA) men's basketball season. It was held from March 10–13, 2021 alongside the C-USA women's tournament in Frisco, Texas, at the Ford Center at The Star. 2016–17 Arkansas State Red Wolves Men's Basketball Team
The 2016–17 Arkansas State Red Wolves men's basketball team represented Arkansas State University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Red Wolves, led by first-year head coach Grant McCasland, played their home games at the Convocation Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas as members of the Sun Belt Conference. Practices officially began on September 30, 2016. Rule changes The only rule change for the regular season was allowing coaches to ask for timeouts in situations of inbounds on offense or defense. Coaches are still not permitted to call timeouts in live-ball situations. The NCAA approved a number of experimental rule changes for use in the 2017 postseason NIT: * Team fouls were reset to zero at the 10:00 mark of each half. Lone Star Conference
The Lone Star Conference (LSC) is a college athletic conference affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division II level. Baylor Bears Basketball
The Baylor Bears men's basketball team represents Baylor University in Waco, Texas, in NCAA Division I men's basketball competition. The Bears compete in the Big 12 Conference.
