Grant Blackwood
Grant Blackwood (born June 7, 1964) is an American thriller writer and ghostwriter. He wrote the Briggs Tanner series. He co-authored with Clive Cussler ''Spartan Gold'' which reached number 10 on the ''New York Times'' Hardcover Fiction Best Sellers list. He is a veteran of the United States Navy. Nuclear fallout is the residual radioactive material propelled into the upper atmosphere following a nuclear blast, so called because it "falls out" of the sky after the explosion and the shock wave has passed.
