Grant Bell
Grant Bell is a rugby league football coach. He was the first coach of the North Queensland Cowboys in 1995. He is currently coaching the Centrals club in the Townsville Rugby League competition. Coaching career In 1995 Bell became the first coach of the new North Queensland Cowboys franchise. Before coaching at first grade level, Bell had been with the Gold Coast Seagulls, coaching the Presidents Cup (Under 21) side in 1992 and the Reserve Grade in 1993. North Queensland Cowboys
The North Queensland Cowboys is an Australian professional rugby league football club based in Townsville, the largest town in North Queensland. They compete in Australia's premier rugby league competition, the National Rugby League (NRL). Since their foundation in 1995, the club has appeared in three grand finals (2005 NRL Grand Final, 2005, 2015 NRL Grand Final, 2015 and 2017 NRL Grand Final, 2017) winning in 2015, and has reached the finals ten times. Rugby League
Rugby league football, commonly known as just rugby league and sometimes football, footy, rugby or league, is a full-contact sport played by two teams of thirteen players on a rectangular field measuring 68 metres (75 yards) wide and 112–122 metres (122 to 133 yards) long with H shaped posts at both ends. Queensland Rugby League Northern Division
The Northern Division of the Queensland Rugby League is responsible for administering the game of rugby league in North Queensland, specifically in the area from Sarina in the south to Cape York Peninsula, Cape York and the Torres Strait Islands in the north and west to Mount Isa as well as into the Gulf Communities. There are over 8000 registered players across 36 senior clubs and 39 junior clubs in this division. The Northern Division is responsible for the historic Foley Shield competition that is held each year. Mid West and Mount Isa play in the Toyota Outback Carnival.
