Adenike Grange
Adenike Grange is a paediatrician, professor, consultant, author and former Nigerian Minister in charge of the Federal Ministry of Health (Nigeria), Federal Ministry of Health. Appointed on the 25th of July 2007, she was the first female Minister of Health in Nigeria. During her time in office, she was dedicated to improving healthcare delivery in Nigeria, reducing maternity deaths and reducing diseases among vulnerable groups. She was arrested by the order of President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua for handling 300 million naira of unspent funds. She was investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and stood trial. She resigned from office on the 26th of March, 2008. Jean-Baptiste Grange
Jean-Baptiste Grange (born 10 October 1984) is a French retired World Cup alpine ski racer. He competed primarily in slalom and earlier also in giant slalom and combined. Born in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, Savoie, Grange grew up in Valloire, Galibier, and made his World Cup debut at age 19 in January 2004. In February 2007, he won the bronze medal in the slalom at the 2007 World Championships in Åre, Sweden. He won his first World Cup race on 17 December 2007, and won the 2009 season title in the slalom. Injured in early December 2009 in a giant slalom at Beaver Creek, he opted for surgery and missed the remainder of the 2010 season, which included the 2010 Winter Olympics. Romain Grange (born 21 July 1988) is a French professional footballer who plays as a winger. Club career Born in Châteauroux, Grange started his career with hometown team LB Châteauroux in 2008, making his debut as a substitute for Rudy Haddad in the 1–0 win over Boulogne on 13 March 2009. He spent four seasons with the club, making almost 100 appearances in all competitions. In May 2012, he agreed a three-year contract with Ligue 1 side AS Nancy. Rob Grange (born 1950) is an American bassist, best known for his work with psychedelic rock band The Amboy Dukes and with Ted Nugent, as well as his unique phase bass lines in the song " Stranglehold". Career Sonny Hugg Grange was a member of Sonny Hugg, a Michigan early progressive rock group that released one single in 1970 on Silo Records in Lansing, Michigan. It was a cover tune titled "Daybreak" and was written by Richard Zehringer later known as Rick Derringer of The McCoys. Harold Edward "Red" Grange (June 13, 1903 – January 28, 1991), nicknamed "the Galloping Ghost" and "the Wheaton Iceman", was an American football halfback for the University of Illinois, the Chicago Bears, and the short-lived New York Yankees. His signing with the Bears helped legitimate the National Football League (NFL). In college, Grange was a three-time consensus All-America and led his team to a national championship in 1923. He was the only consensus All-America running back in 1924 who was not a member of the Four Horsemen of Notre Dame. Philip Grange (born 17 November 1956) is an English composer and academic. Career Grange was born in London. He attended Peter Maxwell Davies’s classes at Dartington, and then took further, private, lessons with Davies while at The University of York, where he also studied composition with David Blake. He was Fellow Commoner in Creative Arts at Trinity College, Cambridge (1985–7), and Northern Arts Fellow in Composition at Durham University (1988–9) before joining the music department at Exeter University as lecturer (1989), reader (1995) and professor (1999) in composition. In 2000 he moved to the University of Manchester, where he is Professor of Music. Lucie Grange ( Poujoulat; 1839 - 31 December 1908) was a French medium and feminist prophet, her mystic name being Habimélah. She was the founder and editor of a monthly spiritualist journal, ''La Lumière''. Biography Lucie Poujoulat was born in 1839, in Saint-Étienne. During the Second French Empire, she was a Republican and her husband, Adolphe Grange, was a freemason. Both joined the spiritist movement in 1876, and in 1882, founded the monthly paper, ''La Lumière'', a type of Republican spiritist publication. Advertised as a journal set on covering spiritualism in all its aspects, it boasted that highly competent writers contributed to its pages. Biography After completing his training at the École Boulle and the École Camondo, Grange made a career as a decorator in France and abroad from the 1970s.
