Grandpa Simpson
Abraham Jebediah "Abe" Simpson II, better known as Grampa, is a recurring character in the animated television series ''The Simpsons''. He made his first appearance in the episode entitled " Grandpa and the Kids", a one-minute Simpsons short on ''The Tracey Ullman Show'', before the debut of the television show in 1989. Grampa Simpson is voiced by Dan Castellaneta, who also voices his son, Homer Simpson. He is the paternal grandfather of Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson. Marjorie Jacqueline "Marge" Simpson () is a character in the American animated sitcom ''The Simpsons'' and part of the eponymous family. Voiced by Julie Kavner, she first appeared on television in '' The Tracey Ullman Show'' short " Good Night" on April 19, 1987. Marge was created and designed by cartoonist Matt Groening while he was waiting in the lobby of James L. Brooks' office. Wes Archer
Wes Archer is an American television animation director and storyboard artist. Career Archer was one of the original three animators (along with David Silverman and Bill Kopp) on ''The Simpsons'', Tracey Ullman shorts, and subsequently directed a number of ''The Simpsons'' episodes (many of which had John Swartzwelder as an episode writer) before becoming supervising director at '' King of the Hill.'' A few years later he left ''King of the Hill'' to direct for ''Futurama'', before eventually returning to ''King of the Hill''. Jeff Martin (writer)
Jeff Martin is an American television producer and writer. He originally wrote for ''The Simpsons'' during the second, third, fourth and fifth seasons, and eventually returned over 20 years later to write again for seasons 27 and 28. He attended Harvard University, where he wrote for ''The Harvard Lampoon'', as have many other ''Simpsons'' writers. He left along with most of the original staff in 1993, and has since written for several TV shows, including '' Listen Up!'', '' Baby Blues'' and ''Homeboys in Outer Space''. Mark Kirkland is an American animation director. He has directed 84 episodes of ''The Simpsons'' since 1990, more than any other director. Career At the age of 13, Kirkland began making super 8 films and working for his father, noted photographer and filmmaker Douglas Kirkland, creating “ making of” films for major production companies. John Joseph Swartzwelder Jr. (born February 8, 1949) is an American comedy writer and novelist, best known for his work on the animated television series ''The Simpsons''. Born in Seattle, Washington, Swartzwelder began his career working in advertising. He was later hired to work on comedy series ''Saturday Night Live'' in the mid-1980s as a writer.
