The Grand National Union was a political party in Kenya. History The party was established by former Member of Parliament for Laikipia East Constituency, Mwangi Kiunjuri. It was formally registered on March 8, 2012. During the 2013 Kenyan general election, it fared rather poorly, winning only a number of County Assembly seats in and around Central Kenya. In 2016, the party merged into the Jubilee Party The Jubilee Party of Kenya was the ruling political party of the Republic of Kenya from 2016 until 13 September 2022. Kiunjuri Festus Mwangi (born January 18, 1968) is a Kenyan politician. He was born in kenju village in Kangema constituency, Muranga county. He has held various political and government positions with his most recent role being the CS agriculture. A section of the mt kenya region believe he Is among, if not , uhuru's successor as the region's leader and spokesperson.
