Gran Hermano Spain (season 12)
Gran Hermano 12 launched on October 17, 2010 and ended on March 10, 2011, making it the longest season of Gran Hermano to date, just lasting a day longer than the previous series. It took place after Gran Hermano: El Reencuentro. This is the twelfth Spanish edition of the reality franchise '' Big Brother''. The main show which consists of nominations and evictions are known as the ''Gala'' and ''El Debate'', a weekly spin-off show, where recently evicted housemates will return. The tag line for this edition is ''"La Cuarta Dimensión"'' (The fourth dimension). The grand prize this season is €300,000. In the 2015 season " Gran Hermano VIP 3", Chari returned to the house. María Mercedes Milá Mencos (born 4 April 1951) is a Spanish television presenter and journalist, most notable for her work on Spain's Telecinco's '' Gran Hermano'', the Spanish version of the reality television series '' Big Brother''. Biography Mercedes Milá was born in Esplugues de Llobregat on 5 April 1951, the daughter of José Luis Milá Sagnier, Count of Montseny, and Mercedes Mencos, and eldest of six brothers and sisters (including newscaster Lorenzo Milá). She studied Philosophy, but abandoned it and then studied journalism and arts in Barcelona, where he got a Bachelor's degree. She first worked as journalist in ''El Correo de Andalucía'', in Sevilla. Shortly afterwards she began working in the newsrooms of Spanish public broadcaster Televisión Española.
