Gran Hermano Spain (Season 11)
Gran Hermano 11 launched on September 6, 2009, with the final on January 27, 2010, lasting 144 days, making it the longest season to date. It is the eleventh Spanish edition of the reality franchise '' Big Brother''. Mercedes Milá returned as the main host of the show, also known as the Gala, which consists of both the nominations and the eviction. The grand prize this season is €50,000 more compared to the last season, totalling to €350,000; there will be a second and third prize with €70,000 and €30,000 being given respectively. One week after the season ended, an All-Stars edition - '' Gran Hermano: El Reencuentro'' premiered which featured housemates Arturo and Indhira returned to the house. Telecinco
Telecinco is a Spanish free-to-air television channel operated by Mediaset España. The channel was previously known as Tele 5, because it had first begun its experimental transmissions on 10 March 1989, and a year later, it was officially launched on 3 March 1990, becoming the fifth of the national terrestrial television channels and the second private channel in Spain. Gran Hermano 9 was the ninth Spanish edition of the reality television show ''Big Brother''. It was launched on September 21, 2008 and ended January 22, 2009, which lasted a total of 124 days. ''Gran Hermano'' (as known by the acronym ''GH'') is a reality television series broadcast in Spain on Telecinco produced by Zeppelin TV (part of the Endemol Shine Iberia). It is part of the '' Big Brother'' franchise first developed in the Netherlands. The Spanish version of ''Big Brother'' was the first reality show to be broadcast in the country, which obtained a 36.5% rating share in its premiere and was an audience leader.
