Gramofon is a record label and event agency founded in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2003. It's the biggest music label of alternative music in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since 2003, Gramofon has organized more than 200 concerts and music events. It is also the organizer of the Sarajevo Jazz Festival and Xenophonia festival. Adi Lukovac
Adi Lukovac (9 September 1970 – June 18 2006) was a Bosnian musician, best known as the pioneer of electronic music in Bosnia and Herzegovina and leader of the Bosnian industrial band Adi Lukovac & The Ornaments. Lukovac founded the band Ornamenti (''The Ornaments'') during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina 1992. In 1996 he founded the label ''Post War Sound Records'' (PWS). With the band Ornamenti, two albums were recorded: ''Pomjeranja'' (''Movements'') in 1999 and ''Fluid'' in 2001. He had also worked on many other music projects as a solo artist. On June 18, 2006, Lukovac died in a car accident near the town Ilidža, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Biography Adi Lukovac was born 1970 in Sarajevo. Amira Medunjanin
Amira Medunjanin (; born 23 April 1972) is a Bosnian singer and interpreter of sevdalinka. She holds both citizenship of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Biography Medunjanin was born in Sarajevo and her fascination with the Music of Bosnia and Herzegovina led her to devote herself to creating a unique voice within sevdalinka. My Music is the third and most successful studio album by Bosnian alternative rock band Sikter. It was released on 21 August 2005 by Bosnian label Gramofon. Album was recorded from 2003 to 2005 at MML Studio in Sarajevo Sarajevo ( ; cyrl, Сарајево, ; ''see names in other languages'') is the capital and largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a population of 275,524 in its administrative limits. Zoster (band)
Zoster is a pop-reggae group from Bosnia and Herzegovina formed in Mostar in 2000. They released four studio albums, and new studio album named "Najgori", which will have 10 songs, is expected to be released in 2023. Slogan of the band and concert greeting is "Band Zoster, Your Band". History The group was formed in the fall of 2000 on the initiative of Mario Knezović and Dražan Planinić. The name Zoster appeared after Mario got over herpes zoster, a virus that lives in the human body, and when the immunity drops, it manifests itself on the surface of the skin in the form of a rash and spreads over time, and the Zoster group was created as a result of the drop in society's immunity. Sikter
Sikter is a Bosnian alternative rock band from Sarajevo. The band was formed in 1990 as a punk rock project of a few students, but became one of the most successful Bosnian rock bands. The name of the band is translated as ''Buzz Off''! From 1990 they changed line-ups many times, as well as musical styles. Their first songs were parodies of Yugoslavian pop songs. Sikter became the first band from Bosnia and Herzegovina whose video clip ''Pain In Brain'' was broadcast on MTV for several months. Bojan Zulfikarpašić
Bojan Zulfikarpašić ( sr-cyr, Бојан Зулфикарпашић), known professionally as Bojan Z. (born February 2, 1968) is a Serbian jazz pianist. Early life He started playing and studying piano at the age of 5 in music school "Kosta Manojlović" in Zemun. As a teenager, he started playing in bands on Belgrade jazz scene, where he received an award as the Best Young Jazz Musician of Yugoslavia award in 1989. Since 1988 Bojan moved to Paris, France, where he developed a successful career as a pianist, composer and producer. Later life and career In 1986 studied with Clare Fischer at the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan. He was influenced by the traditional Balkan music playing in an army orchestra during his military service in former Yugoslavia, which would influence all his subsequent work. Haris Pašović
Haris Pašović (born 16 July 1961) is a Bosnian theatre director. Over the course of his career, he has also worked as a playwright, producer, choreographer, performer, and designer. He is best known for his productions of Wedekind's “ Spring Awakening”. He is the artistic leader of the East West Theatre Company in Sarajevo and tenured Professor of Directing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo.
