Graham Skidmore
Graham George Skidmore (24 September 1931 – 27 December 2021) was a British voice artist, game show announcer, singer and model. He was best known for providing the voice-over for the British television dating gameshow ''Blind Date'' on ITV from 1985 until 2002, in which host Cilla Black referred to him as "Our Graham" and also for the BBC comedy panel game '' Shooting Stars''. Early life Skidmore was born in West Bromwich in 1931, son of a Woolworths manager. He grew up in London and carried out his National Service in the Royal Army Medical Corps after leaving school. Skidmore had wanted to be a physician, but he missed his final exams due to an ear infection; he was also due to fight in the Korean War, but missed this for the same reason. ''Eyes Wide Shut'' is a 1999 erotic mystery psychological drama film directed, produced, and co-written by Stanley Kubrick. It is based on the 1926 novella '' Traumnovelle'' (''Dream Story'') by Arthur Schnitzler, transferring the story's setting from early twentieth-century Vienna to 1990s New York City. The plot centers on a doctor (Tom Cruise) who is shocked when his wife (Nicole Kidman) reveals that she had contemplated having an affair a year earlier. Robert Renwick Mortimer (born 23 May 1959) is an English comedian, podcast presenter and actor. He is known for his work with Vic Reeves as part of their Vic and Bob comedy double act, and more recently the '' Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing'' series with comedian Paul Whitehouse. He has also appeared on panel shows such as ''Would I Lie to You?'' and ''Taskmaster''. Early life Mortimer was raised with three brothers in the Linthorpe area of Middlesbrough. James Roderick Moir (born 24 January 1959), better known by his stage name Vic Reeves, is an English comedian, artist, surrealist, musician, actor and television presenter, best known for his double act with Bob Mortimer as Reeves & Mortimer. Tommy Sandhu (born 24 November 1976) is an English disc jockey remixer, record producer and television presenter. Peter O'Toole
Peter Seamus O'Toole (; 2 August 1932 – 14 December 2013) was a British stage and film actor. ''The Independent'' is a British online newspaper. It was established in 1986 as a national morning printed paper. Nicknamed the ''Indy'', it began as a broadsheet and changed to tabloid format in 2003. The last printed edition was published on Saturday 26 March 2016, leaving only the online edition. London Weekend Television
London Weekend Television (LWT) (now part of the non-franchised ITV London region) was the ITV network franchise holder for Greater London and the Home Counties at weekends, broadcasting from Fridays at 5.15 pm (7:00 pm from 1968 until 1982) to Monday mornings at 6:00. From 1968 until 1992, when LWT's weekday counterpart was Thames Television, there was an on-screen handover to LWT on Friday nights (there was no handover back to Thames on Mondays, as from 1968 to 1982 there was no programming in the very early morning, and from 1983, when a national breakfast franchise was created, LWT would hand over to TV-am at 6:00am, which would then hand over to Thames at 9:25am).
