Graham Bidstrup
Graham Leslie "Buzz" Bidstrup (born 30 August 1952) is an Australian musician, songwriter, music producer and talent manager. He was a member of the Angels (1976–1981), the Party Boys (1983–1984) and Gang Gajang (1984–1987, 1993–1996, 1997–2010, 2013–present). He has managed Jimmy Little, Nathan Cavaleri and Diana Ah Naid. He was the CEO of the Jimmy Little Foundation from 2005 to 2015 and is the founder and Managing Director of associated Uncle Jimmy Thumbs Up Ltd. Biography Early years Graham Leslie Bidstrup was born on 30 August 1952 in Adelaide. He began his professional career in 1967 as a 15 year-old in Fahrenheit 451 on drums, alongside Roger Ball on lead vocals, Bob Barford on lead guitar, Graham Betteny on bass guitar, Tony Faeshe, Steve Hopgood and Bill Semple on rhythm guitar. ''Dark Room'' is the fourth studio album by Australian band The Angels (Australian band), The Angels, released in June 1980. It was their first album for CBS/Epic and was co-produced by the group's John Brewster (musician), John and Richard Brewster (brothers). It peaked at number five on the Kent Music Report Albums Chart. The Swingers
The Swingers were a New Zealand rock band who were together from 1979 to 1982 and whose biggest single was the song " Counting the Beat". Background Formed out of the remnants of the Suburban Reptiles, the founding members were Phil Judd (guitar, vocals), Wayne Stevens ( Bones Hillman) (bass), and Mark Hough (a.k.a. Buster Stiggs) (drums). Formed in 1979, the band released the single "One Good Reason", which was a top 20 hit in New Zealand. They also appeared on the Ripper Records sampler ''AK79'' and established a large live following after a residency at Auckland's Liberty Stage club. In 1980 the band moved to Australia and signed to Mushroom Records for that country, although their New Zealand releases remained on Ripper. The Party Boys
The Party Boys was an Australian rock supergroup with a floating membership commencing in 1982. Created by Mondo Rock's bass guitarist, Paul Christie with founding member Kevin Borich (ex– La De Da's, Kevin Borich Express) as a part-time venture for professional musicians with downtime from their other projects, the group had temporary members from Status Quo, the Angels, Sherbet, Skyhooks, Rose Tattoo, the Choirboys, Australian Crawl, Divinyls, Models, Dragon and Swanee plus international stars including Joe Walsh, Eric Burdon, Alan Lancaster and Graham Bonnet.
