Graeme Hays
Graeme C. Hays (born 1966) is a British and Australian ecology, marine ecologist known for his work with sea turtles and plankton. He is the Alfred Deakin Professor of Marine Science at Deakin University, Australia. He was born in Nairobi, Kenya and works in the area of marine ecosystem, marine ecology researching animal Motion (physics), movements and impacts of climate change. British Ecological Society
The British Ecological Society is a learned society in the field of ecology that was founded in 1913. It is the oldest ecological society in the world. The Society's original objective was "to promote and foster the study of Ecology in its widest sense" and this remains the central theme guiding its activities today. Animal migration is the relatively long-distance movement of individual animals, usually on a seasonal basis. It is the most common form of migration in ecology. It is found in all major animal groups, including birds, mammals, fish, reptiles, amphibians, insects, and crustaceans. Animal navigation is the ability of many animals to find their way accurately without maps or instruments.
