Gracia Querejeta
Gracia Querejeta Marín (; born 13 August 1962) is a Spanish filmmaker. Biography Born in Madrid in 1962, daughter to film producer Elías Querejeta and costume designer María del Carmen Marín. She studied Ancient History in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She worked as an actress before developing her director career. Her debut as director began in 1988 with short films as ''Tres en la marca.'' Her first feature film was ''Una estación de paso'' (1992). 32nd Goya Awards
The 32nd Goya Awards were presented at the Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel in Madrid on 3 February 2018, to honour the best in Spanish films of 2017. SEMINCI
The Valladolid International Film Festival, popularly known as Seminci (short for ; ), is a film festival held annually in Valladolid, Spain. First held in 1956 as ('Valladolid Religious Film Week'), the Seminci is one of the longest-standing film festivals in Spain. It stands out in the area of films d'auteur and independent films. The Seminci conventionally takes place every October, about a month later than the San Sebastián Film Festival, the most prestigious film festival in Spain. Carlos Saura Atarés (born 4 January 1932) is a Spanish film director, photographer and writer. Along with Luis Buñuel and Pedro Almodóvar, he is considered to be one of Spain’s most renowned filmmakers. He has a long and prolific career that spans over half a century. His films have won many international awards. Saura began his career in 1955 making documentary shorts. He quickly gained international prominence when his first feature-length film premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 1960. Although he started filming as a neorealist, Saura quickly switched to films encoded with metaphors and symbolism in order to get around the Spanish censors. ''Fotogramas'' is Spanish digital and print film magazine which has been in circulation since 1946. It is one of the early film magazines in Spain. History Founded in Barcelona, it was first published on 15 November 1946 by Antonio Nadal-Rodó and María Fernanda Gañán. On 5 February 1951, the magazine awarded their first Placa de San Juan Bosco award to actor Jesús Tordesillas for his performance in 1950 film ''Pequeñeces''. In the 1970s the magazine was part of the Nadal Group. New categories were added over time to the award which were renamed Fotogramas de Plata and in 2012 they absorbed the TP de Oro awards.
