Ark Evelyn Grace Academy
Ark Evelyn Grace Academy is a non- selective, coeducational secondary school within the English Academy programme, in Brixton, London. The Academy opened in September 2008 in temporary accommodation admitting its first 180 pupils in year 7. In September 2010 the academy moved to a new purpose-built school building as it admitted its third year 7 year group. The building, designed by architect Zaha Hadid, was awarded the 2011 Stirling Prize. Building The school, which won the Stirling Prize in 2011, was designed by renowned architect Zaha Hadid, who described her post-modernist style as parametricism. The main building, which is a sweeping ''Z'' shape, has three floors of classroom placed on top of solid concrete podium. The building accommodates two "houses", which they call schools, separated by a range of shared facilities. Grace Academy (North Carolina)
Grace Academy is a private Christian university-model school located in Stallings, North Carolina. The school started back in 2000 and has grown from about 50 students to over 450 students stretching from Kindergarten-12th grade. Often described as a "home-school school", this is partly the truth because the majority of students take a few classes at Grace and take a few other classes at home or at other schools, such as Central Piedmont Community College. The format of the school is different from traditional schools. At Grace Academy, students choose up to 5 classes a day, and take those classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. Students can also choose a different set of up to 5 classes which they will attend Tuesdays and Thursdays, so all together one student can take anywhere from 1 to 10 courses. Grace Academy (Darlaston)
Grace Academy is an Academy in Darlaston, Walsall, England. It is a non-selective co-educational secondary school. It was formerly Darlaston Community Science College which had been placed into special measures by OFSTED in January 2008 and failed to raise standards in the allotted time. As a result, it was converted into an Academy on 1 September 2009 using the same buildings. A new, purpose-built academy building was opened in September 2013, and the previous school buildings demolished to make way for astroturf sports facilities for the new school site. The academy was formerly operated by Grace Foundation incorporated by Lord Edmiston – entrepreneur of International Motors Ltd and founder of the evangelical charity Christian Vision, then became part of Tove Learning Trust on 1 April 2019 headed by CEO Dr Jamie Clarke. Grace Academy is a mixed secondary school located in Coventry, England. It has an expanding sixth form which is part of the North East Federation. It was formerly Woodway Park School and Community College, and was converted into an academy on 31 August 2008 using the same buildings, prior to housing the new academy in new buildings on 24 February 2010 The academy was operated by Grace Foundation, a registered charity founded by Bob Edmiston, entrepreneur and founder of the evangelical international charity Christian Vision; however in April 2019 the Grace Trust closed and the academy became a member of the larger TOVE Academy Trust, lead school Sponne School, Towcester, Northamptonshire.
