''Grace'' is the debut studio album by German singer Mandy Capristo. The album was released on April 27, 2012 under the recordings of EMI, Capitol Records and Starwatch Entertainment. The project is Capristo's first solo release following the disbandment with her band Monrose whom after four years have enjoyed four successful albums and seven consecutive top-ten singles. Recorded in Hamburg, Cologne and Berlin, Germany, Capristo had mainly collaborated with David Jost, Twin, Lamb, Julie Frost and Will Simms, among others for the album. Mandy Capristo
Mandy Grace Capristo (born 21 March 1990), also known mononymously as Mandy, is a German singer and songwriter. Born in Mannheim and raised in Bürstadt, Capristo was first exposed to singing and dancing competitions in 2001, when she won ''Kiddy Contest'', a reality television singing competition for teens in Austria, with her song ''Ich wünsche mir einen Bankomat''. In the mid to late 2000s, Capristo rose to fame as a founding member of the girl band Monrose, the result of the fifth season of the German television talent show Popstars. Peter Alexander Makkay (born 30 August 1949), known as Peter Maffay (), is a Romanian-born German musician, singer, and composer. Early life Born in Braşov (german: link=no, Kronstadt), Romania, the son of a German (Transylvanian Saxon), he was 14 when his family relocated to his parents' West Germany in 1963. In the same year, he started his first band, The Dukes. After completing his education and working for Chemigraphics, an art manufacturer, Maffay worked in clubs, where he distributed his music. "Otherside" is a song by American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers. It was released as the third single from their seventh studio album, ''Californication'' (1999), and confronts the battles addicts have with their prior addictions. The track was released in Australia and New Zealand in 1999 and was given an international release in January of the following year. The single was highly successful, peaking at number 14 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100, the fourth-highest peak for the band, and number one on the ''Billboard'' Alternative Songs chart, which was, at the time, the fifth for the band.
