"Got You (Where I Want You)" is a song by American alternative rock band The Flys from their second studio album, '' Holiday Man'' (1998). It was released as the lead single from the album on July 4, 1998, by Trauma Records. The song was written by The Flys, whilst production was helmed by Chris Goss. According to frontman Adam Paskowitz, the song is about desperate attempts to pickup women in bars. The song reached the top five on the ''Billboard'' Modern Rock Tracks chart on December 19, 1998, remaining as The Flys most successful song to date. The song was also featured in the films ''Disturbing Behavior'' and ''Sex Drive''. A re-recorded version of the song was released in 2008, alongside a cover of The Beatles' " Hey Jude". The Flys were an American rock band, formed in Hollywood in 1994 by Adam Paskowitz and Josh Paskowitz. They are the sons of Doc Paskowitz, described by the New York Times as the "First Family of Surfing." The band has shared the stage and toured with many other well known acts and rock bands, but have been on indefinite hiatus since 2012. Airplay is how frequently a song is being played through broadcasting on radio stations. A song which is being played several times every day (spins) would have a significant amount of airplay. The iTunes Store is a digital media store operated by Apple Inc. It opened on April 28, 2003, as a result of Steve Jobs' push to open a digital marketplace for music. A supercut is a genre of video editing consisting of a montage of short clips with the same theme. The theme may be an action, a scene, a word or phrase, an object, a gesture, or a cliché or trope. The technique has its roots in film and television and is related to vidding. The montage obsessively isolates a single element from its source or sources. James Marsden
James Paul Marsden (born September 18, 1973) is an American actor, singer, and former model.
