''Gorkamorka'' is a tabletop skirmish wargame produced by Games Workshop. It is set on the desert world of Angelis in the Warhammer 40,000 setting, and prominently features Orks. The player takes control of a group of warriors with the objective to gain wealth and experience. The rules are derived from the second edition of Warhammer 40,000, with extra vehicle rules and an extensive campaign system added. In 1998 it received an expansion set, ''Digganob'', which introduced additional playable factions, special characters, and scenarios. In 2008 the rule book and source book for Gorkamorka were released on the Games Workshop website under the "Out of Print Games" section. The expansion set was not released in the same way. A video game based on Gorkamorka was also being developed for Windows and the Dreamcast, but was scrapped shortly before the latter system was discontinued. ''Gorkamorka'', also styled as ''GorkaMorka'' and ''Gorka Morka'', was a cancelled vehicular combat video game developed by Realtime Associates and to be published by Ripcord Games. It was based on the Gorkamorka board game by Games Workshop. Andy Chambers (born 20 October 1966) is an English author and game designer best known for his work on over 30 Games Workshop rulebooks and sourcebooks. Personal life In 2003, he married Jessica Chambers after they met at KublaCon 2002. Career Chambers is best known for his work for Games Workshop, where he worked from March 1990 to March 2004. He worked extensively on various ''Warhammer 40,000'' rulebooks and sourcebooks, and also authored multiple fiction novels set in the same universe. Chambers was the lead designer on a number of ''Warhammer'' ''40,000'' spin-off games, such as Necromunda (1995) and Battlefleet Gothic (1999), produced by Specialist Games. These games were released at a time of major growth for Games Workshop and "were designed with expansions and more miniatures sales in mind".
