Abdelaziz Gorgi
Abdelaziz Gorgi () (born 2 June 1928—died 10 January 2008) was a Tunisian artist. He was one of the founders of the Tunis School of painting and one of the most prominent members of Tunisia's cultural scene. Biography Gorgi was born in the Tunisian medina in 1928 and studied at the Tunis Institute of Fine Arts before beginning an artistic career in France. He helped create the Tunis School of painting which he led until 1983. He established his own art gallery, the Gorgi Gallery, in 1973 which mainly shows works of new Tunisian artists. His paintings and tapestries have been featured in exhibitions across the world. Gorgi taught drawing, ceramics and painting at the Institute of Fine Arts from 1959 to 1983. Gorgi was honored by President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali on several occasions. Georgina Coghlan ( Rendell; born 18 August 1975) is an Australian television presenter and performer who is best known for co-hosting Network Ten's Logie Award winning '' The Circle'' between 2010 and 2012, as well as being a regular panelist on '' The Project.'' Personal life Coghlan grew up in Warrnambool, Victoria on a sheep farm. Georgi Hristov (Macedonian: Ѓорѓи Христов, also romanized as ''Gjorgji Hristov''; born 30 January 1976) is a Macedonian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Hristov made 48 appearances and netted 18 goals for Macedonia between 1995 and 2005, being the second-highest scorer in the country's history. Club career Born in Bitola, Hristov started out with his hometown club Pelister, before transferring to Partizan in 1994. He spent the following three seasons with the Black-Whites, winning back-to-back championships in 1996 and 1997. In June 1997, Hristov was sold to English club Barnsley for a fee of £1.5 million. He scored 8 league goals in his debut season with the Tykes, as the club suffered relegation from the Premiership. Gjorgi Kolozov ( mk, Ѓорѓи Колозов; February 26, 1948 – October 13, 2003) was one of the best-known Macedonian actors. He became famous by playing one of the main roles in the television series ''Makedonski narodni prikazni'' (''Macedonian Folk Tales''), which aired in the late 1980s and 1990s. Kolozov is remembered as a whitehaired man with a white beard who almost resembled Santa Claus in appearance and facial description. He appeared in a variety of roles but mostly in that of a king, a peasant or God. Having won the hearts of the widest audience and earned the title "the Macedonian king" among the Macedonian actors. Professor Gorgi Sobhi (1884–1964) جورجى صبحى Professor of General Medicine, Professor of the History of Medicine and Professor of Egyptology. Early life He was born in Mimon of Beni Suef, Egypt, where he lived with his father, who was a manager in an arsenal factory. His mother died a week after he was born. Dr Harper, the manager of Harmel Hospital in Cairo fostered Gorgi and the family brought him up as a twin brother to their own son who was almost the same age.
