Gordan Petrić
Gordan Petrić (; born 30 July 1969) is a Serbian football manager and former player who is the manager of Serbian SuperLiga club Partizan. Club career Petrić made his senior debut with OFK Beograd in the 1985–86 season, as the club suffered relegation from the top flight of Yugoslav football. He was transferred to Partizan in the 1989 winter transfer widow. In the following five years, Petrić won one league title and two national cups, before transferring to Scottish club Dundee United in November 1993. He immediately became a first-team regular under manager Ivan Golac, winning the Scottish Cup in his debut season with the club. His consistent performances at Tannadice earned him a move to Rangers in July 1995. Petrić remained with the club for three years, helping them secure their ninth league title in a row, before a spell in England with Crystal Palace. FK Zemun
Fudbalski klub Zemun (Serbian Cyrillic: Фудбалски клуб Земун) is a Serbian professional football club based in Zemun, Belgrade, that competes in the Serbian League Belgrade. History Immediately after the end of the Second World War, the sports activities in Zemun were restored. By early 1945, a club FK Maksim Divnić was formed, named in honour of a player with that name that played before the war and who died as Partisan fighter during the war. After just a couple of played matches the club changed its name into FK Sremac Zemun. By the end of that year another club is also formed in Zemun, FK Sparta Zemun. Ivan Golac
Ivan Golac ( sr-cyr, Иван Голац, ; born 15 June 1950) is a Yugoslav former professional football player and manager. A Yugoslav international right-back, he is best known as a player and manager of FK Partizan, of Belgrade. In the United Kingdom he is remembered as one of Southampton's first foreign imports and as a Scottish Cup-winning manager with Dundee United. Playing career Partizan Golac was born in Koprivnica in PR Croatia, then part of FPR Yugoslavia, to Croat parents Ivan, who was a soldier in President Tito's guard, and Marija, both of whom hail from Lič in Gorski Kotar. He moved to Belgrade where he joined the youth section of FK Partizan aged 12 and eventually graduated to the first team. 1985–86 Yugoslav First League
The 1985–86 Yugoslav First League season was marked by scandal and controversy due to allegedly wide match-fixing during the last week of fixtures. Summary After the last week was played, FK Partizan was crowned champion due to better goal difference than second-placed Red Star Belgrade. However, after weeks of public pressure and huge public outcry, on 20 June 1986, the Yugoslav FA presidency headed by Slavko Šajber decided to impose extraordinary measures that included the following: *voiding the already played week 34 matches of the 1985–86 season and ordering a replay of every single one (nine fixtures in total) *docking 6 points from each of the 12 clubs suspected of being involved in match-fixing, meaning they would start the following league season with -6 points Each club agreed to play the replay except for Partizan. UEFA European Under-21 Championship
The UEFA European Under-21 Championship, the UEFA Under-21 Championship or simply the Euro Under-21, is a biennial football competition contested by the European men's under-21 national teams of the UEFA member associations. Since 1992, the competition also serves as the UEFA qualification tournament for the Summer Olympics. Italy and Spain are the most successful teams in this competition, having won five titles each. The 1987 FIFA World Youth Championship took place in Chile from 10 to 25 October 1987. The 1987 championship was the 6th contested and won for the first time by Yugoslavia. FIFA World Youth Championship
The FIFA U-20 World Cup is the biennial football world championship tournament for FIFA members’ men's national teams with players under the age of 20. The competition has been staged every two years since the inaugural tournament in 1977 when it was hosted by Tunisia, under the tournament name of FIFA World Youth Championship until 2005. In 2007 the name was changed to its present form. The current title holder is Ukraine which won its first title at the 2019 tournament in Poland. Nogometno društvo Gorica, commonly referred to as ND Gorica or simply Gorica, is a Slovenian football club based in the town of Nova Gorica.
