Goopy Bagha Phire Elo
''Goopy Bagha Phirey Elo'' () is a 1992 Indian Bengali language comedy film directed by Sandip Ray and written by Satyajit Ray. A sequel to the 1980 film ''Hirak Rajar Deshe'' and the third installment of '' Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne series'', the film was released eleven years after its predecessor. Plot Goopy Gyne and Bagha Byne rule the kingdom of Shundi and get bored of enjoying the royal luxuries. They want to get back to the days of adventure they had enjoyed all their lives, but age comes in the way. They leave the kingdom in search of new experiences. Finally, they reach Anandapur and win the king's heart with their musical abilities and powers. In the court room, they meet Brahmananda Acharya, who invites Goopy and Bagha to come to Anandagarh fort. When they go to his place, he offers them a job to steal three valuable stones, making use of their miraculous powers gifted by Bhuter Raja (King of Ghosts). Sandip Ray
Sandip Ray (born 8 September 1953) is an Indian film director and music director who mainly works in Bengali cinema. He is the only child of the famous Bengali director Satyajit Ray and Bijoya Ray. Life and education Sandip Ray was born in Calcutta. Initially schooled at the South Point School and the Patha Bhavan, Kolkata, he subsequently attended the University of Calcutta. Career Ray started his professional career in film at the age of 24 as assistant director on the sets of his father's film ''Shatranj Ke Khilari'' (''The Chess Players'', 1977). Prior to this, he had aided his father in various capacities including still photographer on set. Haradhan Bandopadhyay (6 November 1926 – 5 January 2013) was a Bengali Indian male actor of television and films. He made his debut in the 1948 Bengali film ''Devdut'', directed by Atanu Bandopadhyay. He worked with some of the most prominent directors of Bengali cinema, like Satyajit Ray and Mrinal Sen.
