Faegheh Atashin ( fa, فائقه آتشین; born 5 May 1950), known professionally as Googoosh ( fa, گوگوش, ), is an Iranian singer and former actress. One of the most popular and prolific entertainers in Iran, her career has spanned over six decades. Googoosh has enjoyed significant popularity since the beginning of her career, ultimately becoming a cultural icon inside Iran and abroad. She is mainly known for her contributions to Iranian pop music, but she also starred in a variety of Persian movies from the 1950s to the 1970s. She achieved the pinnacle of her fame and success towards the end of the 1970s. In the 1970s, Googoosh was widely emulated by Iranian women, as they copied her clothing (miniskirts) and her short haircut (known as the "Googooshi"). Hassan Shamaizadeh
Hassan Shamaizadeh ( fa, حسن شماعیزاده, also Romanized as Hasan-é Šamâ'izâde; born January 15, 1943 in Isfahan) is an Iranian pop singer, songwriter and saxophonist. Over the past three decades, he composed songs for artists like Googoosh, Dariush, Moein, Ebi, Aref, Homeyra, Farhad and others. Career At the age of 13, Shamaizadeh already played in a theater orchestra isfahan. He then played in the Radio programs and Television in Tehran. He is noted for playing Persian music with quarter tones on the saxophone, which is a rare skill. In the 1960's, he was one of the first members of the popular Persian band Black Cats and played the saxophone for them. He continued to break record with artists like "Aghaaghi" from 1976. Hollywood Bowl
The Hollywood Bowl is an amphitheatre in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. It was named one of the 10 best live music venues in America by ''Rolling Stone'' magazine in 2018. Khalil Vossoughi ( fa, خلیل وثوقی; born 11 March 1938) known professionally as Behrouz Vossoighi (بهروز وثوقی), is an Iranian actor. He has also worked in television, radio and theater. His work has earned him recognition at several international film festivals, including for Best Actor at the International Film Festival of India in 1974 and San Francisco International Film Festival in 2006. Masoud Kimiai (or Masoud Kimiaei, fa, مسعود کیمیایی, born 29 July 1941) is an Iranian director, screenwriter and producer. Biography Kimiai started his career as an assistant director and made his debut, ''Come Stranger'', in 1968. With his second film, '' Qeysar'' (1969), he and Dariush Mehrjui with The film The Cow, caused a historical change in Iranian film industry.
