Goody Two Shoes (song)
"Goody Two Shoes" is the debut solo single by Adam Ant, released on 7 May 1982. History There are two versions of the cover. The first has Adam and the Ants across the top of the sleeve and the later version just Adam Ant. This is probably due to the confusion around the timing of Ant going solo, particularly as the song was performed by three fifths of the band Ant, Pirroni and Hughes. There are also two different studio versions of the song. The UK 7" single version is notably different from the re-recorded version which appears on ''Friend or Foe''. The single version has a different, more reverberating drum track. The ''Friend or Foe'' version, instead of Hughes on drums, features Bogdan Wiczling, drummer on the rest of the album. Ant performed "Goody Two Shoes" at ''Top of the Pops'' on 20 May 1982. B-side Ant sometimes recorded new versions of his pre-1980 compositions for the B-side of his singles. Adam Ant
Stuart Leslie Goddard, better known as Adam Ant (born 3 November 1954), is an English singer, musician, and actor. He gained popularity as the lead singer of new wave group Adam and the Ants and later as a solo artist, scoring 10 UK top ten hits from 1980 to 1983, including three UK No. 1 singles. He has also worked as an actor, appearing in many films and television episodes. Born in Marylebone, London, Ant began his musical career playing bass in the band Bazooka Joe. From 1977 to 1982 he performed with Adam and the Ants, and their debut album ''Dirk Wears White Sox'' (1979) reached number one on the UK Independent Albums Chart. Kent Music Report
The Kent Music Report was a weekly record chart of Australian music singles and albums which was compiled by music enthusiast David Kent from May 1974 through to January 1999. The chart was re-branded the Australian Music Report (AMR) in July 1987. From June 1988, the Australian Recording Industry Association, which had been using the top 50 portion of the report under licence since mid-1983, chose to produce their own listing as the ARIA Charts. Before the Kent Report, ''Go-Set'' magazine published weekly Top-40 Singles from 1966, and Album charts from 1970 until the magazine's demise in August 1974. Jim Boggia is a pop singer-songwriter based in Philadelphia. In 1998, he co-wrote the song " Glory" which reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts. Early life Jim Boggia was born in Royal Oak, Michigan. At birth, he was declared legally blind in his left eye. He began playing the guitar at age five, encouraged by his musician father. In 1982 he graduated from Fenton High School in Fenton, Michigan. The Dutch Single Top 100 or Single Top 100 is a Dutch chart, based on official physical single sales, legal downloads and since July 2013 streaming and composed by Dutch Charts.
