Katharine Goodson
Katharine Goodson (18 June 1872 – 14 April 1958) was an English pianist. Born in Watford, Goodson studied the piano at the Royal Academy of Music in London; she also worked with Theodor Leschetizky in Vienna. Her London debut took place on 16 January 1897. The tours of Europe which followed placed her in the front rank of British female pianists of the era. Goodson made her American debut on 18 January 1907, appearing as soloist with the Boston Symphony in a concert in the orchestra's home city. Goodson died in London in 1958. Charles Goodson-Wickes, DL (born 7 November 1945) is a company director, business consultant and consulting physician. From 1987 to 1997 he was the British Conservative Member of Parliament for Wimbledon. He served in The Life Guards in the British Army, attaining the rank of lieutenant colonel, and served in the First Gulf War. He was the principal for two occupational health practices, advising Barclays Bank, Rio Tinto and other multi-national companies from 1980 to 1994. Vice Admiral William Goodsonn (1610in or after 1680), also William Goodson, was an English naval officer. Early career William Goodsonn joined the Parliamentary cause during the Second English Civil War in 1647. During the First Anglo-Dutch War he was captain of the ''Entrance'' in the battle of Portland, 25 January 1663. He was a rear-admiral of the blue in the battles of June and July 1653. Tyler Goodson (born November 10, 2000) is an American football running back for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Iowa. Early life and high school Goodson grew up in Suwanee, Georgia and attended North Gwinnett High School. He rushed for 1,437 yards and 25 touchdowns in his junior season. Mark Leo Goodson (January 14, 1915 – December 18, 1992) was an American television producer who specialized in game shows, most frequently with his business partner Bill Todman, with whom he created Goodson-Todman Productions. Leonard George Goodson (1880–1922) was an English-born footballer who played as an inside left and left wing around the turn of the 19th century. He was the scorer of the first two goals for Doncaster Rovers in the Football League. Born in Doncaster, Goodson played for the Marshgate Institute club before moving to Doncaster Rovers in March 1900. He was seen as having the makings of an exceptional player. Jonathan Goodson
Jonathan Michael Goodson (born August 20, 1945) is an American television producer who specializes in game shows. He is the son of legendary game show producer Mark Goodson and began his television career in 1973 as chief counsel of Goodson-Todman Productions. He later produced several of the company's shows. After his father's death in December 1992, Jonathan took over the company in March 1993 (in the early 1980s the Goodsons had acquired the Todman heirs' portion of the company) and ran it until it was sold to All American Television in 1995. Ivor Frederick Goodson (born 1943) is a British educationalist. He is a professor at Tallinn University. Education and career Goodson was born in 1943 in Woodley, a village near Reading, Berkshire. He went to a grammar school and was unsuccessful initially, leaving at age 15, but then returned and resumed his studies. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from University College, London, and his teachers certificate from the London School of Education. He then worked as a teacher at the progressive comprehensive school, Countesthorpe Community College. Goodson returned to the University of Sussex for a Doctor of Philosophy degree, which he completed in 1979.
