Timothy Goodman House
The Timothy Goodman House is a historic house at 567 Quaker Lane South in West Hartford, Connecticut. Built in the early to mid-18th century, it is one of West Hartford's few surviving 18th-century houses. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 10, 1986. Description and history The Timothy Goodman House stands in southeastern West Hartford, on the west side of Quaker Lane (a busy north–south local artery) just north of its junction with Jackson Avenue. It is a -story wood-frame structure, with a gabled roof and clapboarded exterior. It is five bays wide, with a large central chimney and a rear leanto section, giving it a saltbox appearance. The bays are symmetrically located but not regularly spaced, with wide spaces on either side of the center entrance. The doors, windows, and house corners all have simple trim. Goodman–Stark House
Goodman–Stark House, also known as the Stark–Unsell House, is a historic home located at Louisiana, Pike County, Missouri. It was built about 1894, and is a -story, Queen Anne style brick dwelling. It has a steeply pitched hipped and gabled roof with intersecting ridges and a front-facing gable, prominent masonry chimneys and an asymmetrical facade with bay windows and balustraded porches. Joseph Goodman House
The Joseph Goodman House is a house located in northwest Portland, Oregon listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was added on the list in 1973. It dates back to the mid 1880s when it was originally built to serve as a grocery store. The building was built for Joseph Goodman, who was a prominent local grocer. Goodman operated his store in the said building until 1924. The building's upper floor housed Jacob Bickler's German and English Academy, which was an elite preparatory school and operated approximately from 1892-1896. Goodman–LeGrand House
The Goodman–LeGrand house and museum is located at 624 North Broadway, in the city of Tyler, county of Smith in the U.S. state of Texas. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places listings in Smith County in 1976, and has been a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark since 1962. The Daughters of the American Revolution designated it an Historic Site in 2010. History Named Bonnie Castle by original owner Samuel Gallatin Smith, the Greek Revival cottage was built in 1859 on a parcel of in Tyler. Smith joined the Confederate States Army in 1861 and sold Bonnie Castle to local Tyler teacher F.N. Gary, who never resided in the house. After the 1862 Capture of New Orleans, Gary made the house available to numerous families of refugees fleeing the Union Army. Gary sold the house to retired physician Samuel A. Goodman in 1866. In 1872, Goodman's physician son William J. Goodman purchased the house for $3,000 and moved in with his wife Priscilla Gaston Goodman. ...
