Good Time (Niko Moon Album)
''Good Time'' (stylized in all caps) is the debut album of American country music artist Niko Moon. It was released on August 27, 2021, via RCA Records Nashville. Content Prior to releasing his debut album, Moon worked as a songwriter for various country music artists, including Zac Brown Band and Dierks Bentley. He also recorded with the former's Zac Brown in the electronic dance music trio Sir Rosevelt. Moon released " Good Time" as his debut single in 2020, and the song reached the top of ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts in 2021. He wrote all but one of the album's songs with his wife, Anna, and Joshua Murty, with whom he also produced the album. The final track, and the only one which the Moons did not co-write, is a cover of Travis Tritt's 2001 single "It's a Great Day to Be Alive". Niko Moon (born Nicholas Cowan; September 20, 1982) is an American country pop singer and songwriter signed to RCA Nashville. He has written songs for Dierks Bentley, Zac Brown Band, Rascal Flatts, and Morgan Wallen. He was also a member of the group Sir Rosevelt with Zac Brown and Ben Simonetti. Background Nicholas Cowan is originally from Tyler, Texas but relocated to Douglasville, Georgia, when he was 10. His father, a truck driver and his mother, a waitress, introduced Niko to the works of artists like John Prine and Patty Griffin. He started out as a drummer after seeing his father play. His father was also a musician and gave up being a touring drummer when Niko was born. Steven Lee Olsen (born November 25, 1985, in Newmarket, Ontario) is a Canadian country music artist and songwriter. He released his debut single "Now" in 2009 on RGK Records, taken from his 2009 debut album ''Introducing Steven Lee Olsen''. He followed his debut single with the release of another single "Make Hay While the Sun Shines". Olsen has also written songs for singers such as Craig Morgan, Garth Brooks, Dallas Smith, Rascal Flatts, and Kevin Borg, in addition to " Blue Ain't Your Color" by Keith Urban. Chris McHugh
Chris McHugh (born 1964) is an American musician. He began his career as the drummer of Christian rock band White Heart from 1986 to 1989. He also worked in the recording of several of their later albums. Chris McHugh is on the Nashville "A" list of session drummers. His recording credits span over 20 years with the top gold and platinum artists of the music industry. He has toured with Amy Grant and Garth Brooks. McHugh has toured as Music Director/drummer for Keith Urban and has been the session drummer for all six of Urban's studio albums. Bryan Sutton
Bryan Sutton is an American musician. Primarily known as a flatpicking acoustic guitar player, Sutton also plays mandolin, banjo, ukulele, and electric guitar. He also sings and writes songs. Biography Early career Sutton's grandfather and father were regionally recognized fiddlers, and Sutton grew up playing in the family band, the Pisgah Pickers. In 1991, he played guitar for Karen Peck and New River, a gospel group. In 1993, he moved to Nashville. Ricky Skaggs Sutton first came to prominence in 1997 as lead guitarist in Ricky Skaggs' band Kentucky Thunder when Skaggs returned to bluegrass. Dobro is an American brand of resonator guitars, currently owned by Gibson and manufactured by its subsidiary Epiphone. The term "dobro" is also used as a generic term for any wood-bodied, single-cone resonator guitar. The Dobro was originally a guitar manufacturing company founded by the Dopyera brothers with the name "Dobro Manufacturing Company". Hammond Organ
The Hammond organ is an electric organ invented by Laurens Hammond and John M. Hanert and first manufactured in 1935. Multiple models have been produced, most of which use sliding drawbars to vary sounds. Until 1975, Hammond organs generated sound by creating an electric current from rotating a metal tonewheel near an electromagnetic pickup, and then strengthening the signal with an amplifier to drive a speaker cabinet. The organ is commonly used with the Leslie speaker. Around two million Hammond organs have been manufactured. Ian Fitchuk (born February 13, 1982) is a songwriter, music producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist. Early life Fitchuk was born and raised in Chicago by parents who are both accomplished classical musicians and educators. The pedal steel guitar is a Console steel guitar, console-type of steel guitar with pedals and knee levers that change the pitch of certain strings to enable playing more varied and complex music than any previous steel guitar design. Like all steel guitars, it can play unlimited glissando, glissandi (sliding notes) and deep vibrato, vibrati—characteristics it shares with the human voice. Bouzouki
The bouzouki (, also ; el, μπουζούκι ; alt. pl. ''bouzoukia'', from Greek ), also spelled buzuki or buzuci, is a musical instrument popular in Greece. It is a member of the long-necked lute family, with a round body with a flat top and a long neck with a fretted fingerboard.
