Good Nature (Turnover Album)
''Good Nature'' is the third studio album by American rock band Turnover, released on August 25, 2017, on Run for Cover Records. Background and production ''Good Nature'' was recorded with producer Will Yip, who had worked with the band on their previous album, ''Peripheral Vision''. It is the last album by the band to feature lead guitarist Eric Soucy, who has since been released from the band due to allegations of emotional abuse. The album came together in 2016, with vocalist and guitarist Austin Getz finalising the lyrics while the band was on tour in Europe. In the accompanying press release for the album, Getz describes the album as: Release Following allegations of emotional abuse, guitarist Eric Soucy was removed from the group in June 2017. Turnover (band)
Turnover is an American rock band from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Formed in 2009, the band is signed with the Run for Cover Records label. Turnover has released five albums, two EPs and a handful of singles. History Turnover began in 2009, originally consisting of vocalist Austin Getz, backing vocalist/rhythm guitarist Kyle Kojan, lead guitarist Alex Dimaiuat, bassist Danny Dempsey and drummer Casey Getz. In 2011, the group released their debut E.P. ''Turnover'' on Broken Rim Records. In 2012, they released a split single with Citizen, and signed to Run for Cover Records. Since then, they have released two extended plays, two splits, and five full-length albums. In December 2011 and January 2012, the band went on a winter tour with True Things. The Story So Far is an American pop punk band from Walnut Creek, California, formed in 2007. They are currently signed to Pure Noise Records and have released 4 studio albums. History Formation and early releases (2007–2010) The Story So Far formed in Walnut Creek, California in 2007. Their name is taken from the New Found Glory song "The Story So Far". The band consisted of Parker Cannon on vocals, Kevin Geyer on lead guitar, Kevin Ambrose on rhythm guitar, Ryan Torf on drums, and Kelen Capener on bass. On December 22, the band released the ''5 Songs'' EP. Ambrose parted ways with the band when he went to college in 2010 and was replaced by William Levy. The iTunes Store is a digital media store operated by Apple Inc. It opened on April 28, 2003, as a result of Steve Jobs' push to open a digital marketplace for music. As of April 2020, iTunes offered 60 million songs, 2.2 million apps, 25,000 TV shows, and 65,000 films. Turnstile are an American hardcore punk band from Baltimore, Maryland, formed in 2010. They have released five EPs and three studio albums. Camp Cope
Camp Cope are an Australian alternative rock trio formed in 2015 in Melbourne, Victoria. The group consists of lead singer, songwriter and guitarist Georgia "Georgia Maq" McDonald, bassist Kelly-Dawn Hellmrich, and drummer Sarah "Thomo" Thompson. Camp Cope are signed with independent Melbourne label Poison City Records - where Thompson also works, and independent Boston label Run for Cover Records distributes their releases in North America and Europe. Indie Rock
Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Originally used to describe independent record labels, the term became associated with the music they produced and was initially used interchangeably with alternative rock or "Pop rock, guitar pop rock". One of the primary scenes of the movement was Dunedin, where Dunedin sound, a cultural scene based around a convergence of noise pop and jangle became popular among the city's University of Otago, large student population.
