Good Boy!
''Good Boy!'' is a 2003 American science fiction comedy film directed by John Hoffman, based on the book ''Dogs from Outer Space'' by Zeke Richardson; Hoffman and Richardson collaborated on the screen story, while Hoffman wrote the screenplay. The film stars Liam Aiken as Owen Baker, as well as the voices of Matthew Broderick, Delta Burke, Donald Faison, Brittany Murphy, Carl Reiner, Vanessa Redgrave, and Cheech Marin as the abundant dog characters in the film. Plot Owen Baker ( Liam Aiken) is a 12-year-old who has been working as the neighborhood dog-walker so he can earn the privilege of getting a dog of his own. Owen's hard work pays off when his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Baker (Kevin Nealon and Molly Shannon), let Owen adopt a scruffy Border Terrier that he names Hubble (voice of Matthew Broderick). John Robert Hoffman
John Robert Hoffman, most often known simply as John Hoffman, is an American actor, screenwriter, director and producer. He wrote and co-starred in the Disney Channel original film '' Northern Lights'' (1997) and has written many unproduced screenplays, including ''Queen Bess'', ''Indianapolis'', ''In Harm's Way'' and ''Queen of the Jews''. Hoffman made his theatrical film debut (as both writer and director) with the MGM/Jim Henson Pictures comedy ''Good Boy!'' (2003), which opened at No. 3 at the U.S. box office and grossed $45.3 million worldwide on an $18 million budget. He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award as part of the writing team for the 81st Academy Awards (2009). Carl Reiner
Carl Reiner (March 20, 1922 – June 29, 2020) was an American actor, stand-up comedian, director, screenwriter, and author whose career spanned seven decades. He was the recipient of many awards and honors, including 11 Primetime Emmy Awards, a Grammy Award, and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. He was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 1999. The Great Dane is a large sized dog breed originating from Germany. Poodle
The Poodle, called the Pudel in German and the Caniche in French, is a breed of water dog. The breed is divided into four varieties based on size, the Standard Poodle, Medium Poodle, Miniature Poodle and Toy Poodle, although the Medium Poodle variety is not universally recognised. They have a distinctive thick, curly coat, and come in many colors, with only solid ones recognized by breed registries. While a reasonably healthy breed, they are prone to sebaceous adenitis and Addison's disease among other genetic disorders. Border Terrier
The Border Terrier is a British breed of small, rough-coated terrier. Peter Flemming (born 1967) is a Canadian television actor best known for playing Agent Malcolm Barrett on Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis and Chuck Greene in Dead Rising 2. Early life Flemming was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he attended Halifax West High School. Boxer (dog)
The Boxer is a medium to large, short-haired dog breed of mastiff-type, developed in Germany. The coat is smooth and tight-fitting; colors are fawn, brindled, or white, with or without white markings. Boxers are brachycephalic (they have broad, short skulls), have a square muzzle, mandibular prognathism (an underbite), very strong jaws, and a powerful bite ideal for hanging on to large prey. The Boxer was bred from the Old English Bulldog and the now extinct Bullenbeisser, which became extinct by crossbreeding rather than by a decadence of the breed.
