''Golmaal'' ( bn, গোলমাল) (2008) is a Bengali comedy drama film directed by Swapan Saha and featuring multi-starring Prosenjit Chatterjee, Tota Ray Chowdhury, Jisshu Sengupta, Priyanka Trivedi, Namrata Thapa, Barsa Priyadarshini. Plot Pralay (Prosenjit Chatterjee), an orphan, is given shelter by Kaka Babu (Rajatava Dutt), just like the latter had given to the brother- sister orphans, Mainak (Tota Ray Chowdhury) and Khushi (Barsa Priyadarshini). The three grew up like family members. When they grow up, Pranay falls in love with Chandni (Priyanka Trivedi), the daughter of Tridib Babu (Mrinal Mukherjee), the local don. Pralay and Mainak often clash with Tridib's men and always teach them a lesson. The entry of Sangeeta (Namrata Thapa) creates a misunderstanding between the two, as Mainak has a crush for her, but he learns that Sangeeta loves Pralay. Siddhartha is a college-mate of Khushi. Namrata Thapa is an Indian film and television actress. She appeared in ''Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli'' as Swarnlata Raj Singhania. Personal life Thapa was born in Delhi and now resides in Mumbai. Mrinal Mukherjee
Mrinal Mukherjee ( – 7 May 2019) was an Indian actor, theatre personality and music director. He is the father of actor and singer Jojo. He is remembered for his negative roles in Bengali cinema. Career In 1955, Mukherjee made his debut with the 1955 film ''Dui Bon''. After that he performed number of commercial movies more than five decades in Bengali film industry and played crucial roles. He acted with notable directors in number of movies like ''Galpo Holeo Satti'', ''Nayika Sangbad'', ''Chuti'', ''Shriman Prithviraj'' etc. He also performed as music director as well as playback singer in Bengali films and worked with Gulzar in the film Mausam. Tota Roy Chowdhury is an Indian actor and martial artist based in Kolkata. He predominantly appears in Bengali and Hindi cinema. Prosenjit Chatterjee (born 30 September 1962) is an Indian actor and producer. He is widely regarded as one of the leading actors in modern Bengali cinema. He predominantly works in Bengali cinema .
