Doha Golf Club
The Doha Golf Club in Doha, Qatar is an 18-hole, 7,374-yard, par 72 championship course that was designed by Peter Harradine. The Doha Golf Club is also one of the first grass golf course ever built in the Middle East. Open to nonmembers, it has a 2 808 yards long floodlit nine-hole academy course, and a clubhouse with three restaurants and a golf shop. The club hosts the Qatar Masters golf tournament. Chan Shih-chang (; born 7 June 1986) is a Taiwanese professional golfer, who plays on the Asian Tour. Amateur career As an amateur, Chan won the 2004 Hong Kong Amateur Open and competed in the 2006 Asian Games, winning the bronze medal in the men's team event. Professional career Chan turned professional in 2008 and has competed on several tours in Asia; the Japan Golf Tour, the Asian Tour, the Asian Development Tour, the PGA Tour China and the OneAsia Tour. Mika Miyazato ( ja, 宮里美香, born 10 October 1989) is a professional golfer from Japan who plays on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. Career As an amateur, Miyazato won the 2004 Japan Amateur Women's Championship at the age of 14, and was the youngest player to win the event.
