The Golem is the name of a number of fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. These include: Monster Publication history The Golem first appeared in ''Strange Tales'' #174 (June 1974), and was created by Len Wein and John Buscema. Fictional character biography Golem is a humanoid creature that was made in the 16th century by Maharal of Prague, Judah Loew Ben Bezalel. American Comic Book
An American comic book is a thin periodical originating in the United States, on average 32 pages, containing comics. While the form originated in 1933, American comic books first gained popularity after the 1938 publication of ''Action Comics'', which included the debut of the superhero Superman. This was followed by a superhero boom that lasted until the end of World War II. Blue Bullet is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Publication history The Blue Bullet first appeared in ''Invaders'' #11-12 (December 1976-January 1977), and was created by Roy Thomas and Frank Robbins. The Hood (Parker Robbins) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Brian K. Vaughan, and artists Kyle Hotz and Eric Powell, the character was introduced in his own self-titled limited series, which started with ''Hood'' #1 (July 2002). Robbins was originally a petty criminal, until an encounter with a Nisanti demon, which he defeated and robbed of its hood and boots, gaining superpowers in the process, such as levitation and invisibility. Mosh (comics)
Moshing (also known as slam dancing or simply slamming) is an extreme style of dancing in which participants push or slam into each other, typically performed to "aggressive" live music such as heavy metal and punk rock. Moshing usually happens in the center of the crowd, generally closer to the stage, in an area called the "mosh pit". It is intended to be energetic and full of body contact. The dance style originated in the hardcore punk scenes of California and Washington, D.C. around 1980. Through the 1980s it spread to other branches of punk rock as well as grunge and thrash metal, which exposed it to the mainstream. Since then, moshing has occasionally been performed to energetic music within a wide variety of genres, including alternative rock, EDM and hip hop, while remaining a staple in heavy metal shows.
