Goldhawk
Dale Goldhawk (born ) is a Canadian broadcaster, journalist, and investigative reporter. Goldhawk graduated from the journalism program at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute in 1967 and began his career as a reporter for the ''Toronto Telegram''. He moved to radio station CHIC in 1971 where he served as news director. In 1974 he moved to television as a reporter for the fledgling Global Television Network. In 1980, he became a local CBC reporter in Toronto. ''Goldhawk Fights Back'' began as a consumer advocacy segment on CBLT's dinner hour newscast in the 1980s — ''Newshour''. He joined Leslie Jones as co-host of ''CBLT Morning'' between 1984 and 1986. He moved to national radio from 1986 to 1992 as host of CBC Radio's '' Cross-Country Checkup''. CBLT (TV)
CBLT-DT (channel 5) is a television station in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, serving as the flagship station of the English-language service of CBC Television. It is part of a twinstick with Ici Radio-Canada Télé outlet CBLFT-DT (channel 25). Both stations share studios at the Canadian Broadcasting Centre on Front Street West in downtown Toronto, which is also shared with national cable news channel CBC News Network and houses the studios for most of CBC's news and entertainment programs. ''Cross Country Checkup'' is a Canada-wide open-line radio show that airs Sunday afternoons on CBC Radio One. Julian Fantino, , ( it, Giuliano Fantino; born August 13, 1942) is a Canadian retired police official and former politician. He was the Conservative Party of Canada Member of the Parliament of Canada for the riding of Vaughan following a November 29, 2010 by-election, until his defeat in 2015. Trinity—Spadina was a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1988 to 2015. It generally encompassed the western portion of Downtown Toronto. Its federal Member of Parliament (MP) was Olivia Chow of the New Democratic Party.
