Golden Gecko
The golden gecko (''Gekko badenii''), also known commonly as Baden's Pacific gecko, is a species of lizard in the family Gekkonidae. The species is native to Vietnam. Herbert Rösler (15 June 1924 – 11 November 2006) was a German artist, writer and designer. He worked as a painter, graphic designer, sculptor, developed models for futuristic architecture, designed clothes, furniture and handcrafted jewelry. Furthermore, he is also known as founder of the Christian work- and housing-community ''Gruppe 91'' (''Group 91''), their beliefs and lifestyle have similarities to the Jesus movement. Rösler was the creative and spiritual guidance for this community from their beginning in 1968 to the date of his passing in 2006. Black Virgin Mountain
Black Virgin Mountain ( vi, Núi Bà Đen meaning "Black Lady Mountain", km, Phnom Chol Baden) is a mountain in Tây Ninh City, Vietnam. The mountain is the center of a Vietnamese myth about ''Bà Đen'', a local deity of Khmer origin. During the Vietnam War the area around the mountain was a hot zone as the Ho Chi Minh Trail ended a few kilometers west across the Cambodian border. Ilya Sergeyevich Darevsky (russian: Илья Сергеевич Даревский, 18 December 1924 – 8 August 2009) was a Soviet Russian zoologist-herpetologist and a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. During his career he described 34 species of amphibians and reptiles. '' Darevskia'', a genus of Caucasian rock lizards, is named after him.
