Côte-des-Neiges Road
Côte-des-Neiges Road (officially in french: chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges) is a street in Montreal, home to Plaza Côte-des-Neiges. It is served by Métro Côte-des-Neiges and two bus lanes. BIXI bike rental is also available. It extends from the intersection of Sherbrooke Street and Guy Street in the south to Jean-Talon Street and Laird Boulevard in the north, at the border with the Town of Mount Royal. Part of it follows the path of the former Raimbault Creek (now an underground collector sewer) between the main peak of Mount Royal and Westmount Summit. It is the economic and cultural heart of the Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood. Côte-des-Neiges Road features a variety of culturally diverse cuisine in its many restaurants; Québécois/Canadian, British, French, Chinese, Lebanese, Vietnamese and Italian alongside many of the popular fast food franchises. Guy Street
Guy Street (officially in french: rue Guy) is a north-south street located in downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Concordia University's Integrated Engineering, Computer Science and Visual Arts Complex is located on this street, as is the John Molson School of Business building. The street is home to the Guy-Concordia Metro station. Guy Street runs through the Little Burgundy and Shaughnessy Village neighbourhoods, and the recently named Quartier Concordia district, before changing to Côte-des-Neiges Road, above Sherbrooke Street. History The street was named on August 30, 1817 for Étienne Guy (1774-1820), a notary and member for the riding of Montreal in the Lower Canada Assembly. He gave the city the land for the street. Pine Avenue
Pine Avenue (french: avenue des Pins) is an east–west street in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This street serves as the dividing line between the downtown Ville-Marie borough and borough of Le Plateau-Mont-Royal, and also serves as the northern border of the Golden Square Mile historic district, further west. The street borders the eastern side of Mount Royal. It begins at Saint Denis Street in the east, and ends at Côte-des-Neiges Road in the west. The entire length is serviced by the 144 Avenue des Pins bus. René Lévesque Boulevard (french: Boulevard René-Lévesque), previously named Dorchester Boulevard () is one of the main streets in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is a main east–west thoroughfare passing through the downtown core in the borough of Ville-Marie.
