Tsui Fu-sheng
Tsui Fu-sheng (; 8 July 1931 – 26 December 2013) was a Taiwanese actor. He began acting after completed military service in the Republic of China Air Force. Fu was awarded the Golden Horse for Best Supporting Actor in 1966. His role in ''The Road'' was honored with the Golden Horse Award for Best Actor in 1968. At the time of his death, Tsui was in ill health, out of the public eye, and in retirement for two decades. He was hospitalized in September 2013, and later sent home. Tsui fell ill on 25 December 2013, and died the next day, aged 82. Zhao Lei (actor)
Zhao Lei (; 1928 – 24 June 1996) was a Chinese actor who was one of the most popular male leads in the cinema of Hong Kong and Taiwan in the 1950s and 60s, often called the "Film Emperor". Zhao was born Wang Yumin () in Ding County, Hebei, China in 1928 and moved to Hong Kong in the 1940s. He began working for Shaw Brothers Studio in 1953, and left for Cathay-Keris Films ten years later. Zhao was given the Golden Horse Award for Best Leading Actor in 1966. He continued acting into the 1970s, and spent the latter half of the decade operating a restaurant in Taipei. In his acting career, Zhao appeared in over one hundred films. He died in Hong Kong of pneumonia on 24 June 1996, aged 68. Zhao's wife Shi Ying () was also an actress with Shaw Brothers. ''Beautiful Duckling'' is a 1965 Taiwanese film directed by Li Hsing. It tells the story of a duck man Lin Tsai-tien (Ko Hsiang-ting) and his adopted daughter Hsiao-yue. Hsiao-yue (Tang Pao-yun) knows nothing about her real descent, which Lin has designedly disguised. Her natural brother Chao-fu (Ou Wei) is a Taiwanese opera actor, he keeps asking Lin for money. He brings Hsiao-yue to the theatrical troupe to follow himself, where Hsiao-yue learns about her natural parents. Lin has to sell all his ducks, entrust Hsiao-yue to Chao-fu, and gives him money to let him start his own business. At the end of the film, Lin's son comes back, and Chao-fu repents his behavior and returns the money to Lin. Ko Chun-hsiung (; 15 January 1945 – 6 December 2015) was a Taiwanese actor, director and politician. He had been acting since the 1960s and had appeared in more than 200 films. Ou Wei
Ou Wei (; 16 September 1937 – December 1973) was a Taiwanese actor. Ou Wei was born Huang Huang-chi () in present-day Xinhua District, Tainan, on 16 September 1937. His father, a billboard painter, died when Huang was five years old. His formal education ended after middle school. Huang worked for the police before leaving to pursue acting. He found that theatre did not suit him, and as such he joined director's Ho Chi-ming's film studio. Huang made his Hokkien film debut in 1957, and took his stage name, Ou Wei, from the character he portrayed in ''Green Mountain Bloodshed'', a historical drama about the rebellion of a tribe of Taiwanese aborigines against Japanese rule. Early life On June 25, 1911, Wang was born as Wang Chunyuan () in Shanghai, China. Wang's ancestral home was in Tianjin. Career Wang began his acting career with Jinan Film Company, appearing in his first film as an actor in 1929. In 1931, Wang became a director and directed his first film.
