Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT) is a college in Belgaum, Karnataka, India, which is An Autonomous institution affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. History The college was founded in 1979 to meet the growing demand for technically-trained workers, being named after industrialist Raosaheb Gogte. It received the Excellent Technical Education Institute in Karnataka award at the August 9, 2014 National Karnataka Education Summit and Awards at Visvesvaraya Technological University in Bangalore. Belgaum (ISO 15919, ISO: ''Bēḷagāma''; also Belgaon and officially known as Belagavi) is a city in the Indian state of Karnataka located in its northern part along the Western Ghats. Atul Chitnis
Atul Chitnis (20 February 1962 – 3 June 2013) was an Indians in Germany, Indo-German consulting technologist. He was one of the organizers of FOSS.IN (formerly Linux Bangalore), which was one of Asia's free and open source software (FOSS) conferences. Career In 1989, Chitnis set up a Bulletin Board System (BBS) called CiX which provided an entry point for many users to online communities. He was the author of a PCQuest magazine column – COMversations. Chitnis gave talks on data communication in Indian industry, the Internet and intranets. As a Consulting Editor for PCQuest, he worked on the PCQuest (magazine)#PCQ Linux Initiative, PCQuest Linux Initiative. Suresh Channabasappa Angadi (1 June 195523 September 2020) was an Indian politician who served as the Union Minister of State for Railways of India from 30 May 2019 to 23 September 2020. He was Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from 2004 to September 2020. He was a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party from Karnataka. The Attorney General for India is the Indian government's chief legal advisor, and is its chief advocate in the courts. They are appointed by the President of India at the instance of the Union Cabinet under Article 76(1) of the Constitution and hold office during the pleasure of the President. Mohan Mallikarjunagouda Shantanagoudar (5 May 1958 – 25 April 2021) was an Indian jurist, and former Judge of the Supreme court of India. He served as Chief Justice of Kerala High Court. Biography Justice Shantanagoudar initially practiced at the Karnataka High Court as an advocate, and was later appointed an Additional Judge in 2003, and elevated as a permanent judge of the Karnataka High Court on 29 September 2004. He was appointed the acting chief justice of the Kerala High Court on 1 August 2016 and later as Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court on 22 September 2016. Justice Dipak Misra (born 3 October 1953) is an Indian jurist who served as the 45th Chief Justice of India from 28 August 2017 till 2 October 2018. He is also former Chief Justice of the Patna High Court and Delhi High Court. He is the nephew of Justice Ranganath Misra, who was the 21st Chief Justice from 1990 to 1991.
