''Gods Hand'' is the sixth studio album by American hip hop duo Axe Murder Boyz. It was released on September 16, 2006 under their own label Canonize Productions in conjunction with Hatchet House. It is also the first of two releases that AMB would release on Hatchet House before they left the label in 2011. Axe Murder Boyz
Axe Murder Boyz are an American hip hop duo from Denver, Colorado, United States best known as representatives of the horrorcore and gangsta rap subgenres. It consists of brothers Mike and James Garcia, who perform under the names Bonez Dubb and Young Wicked (or Otis), respectively. Their rap personae is loosely based on characters in the 2000 Bill Paxton horror movie '' Frailty'', a film about two young brothers forced to become "demon Slayers" and participate in the brutal killings of evil creatures from hell living here on earth who look like normal people. Horrorcore
Horrorcore, also called horror hip hop, horror rap, death hip hop, or death rap, is a subgenre of hip hop music based on horror-themed and often darkly transgressive lyrical content and imagery. Its origins derived from certain hardcore hip hop and gangsta rap artists, such as the Geto Boys, which began to incorporate supernatural, occult, and psychological horror themes into their lyrics. Gangsta Rap
Gangsta rap or gangster rap, initially called reality rap, emerged in the mid- to late 1980s as a controversial hip-hop subgenre whose lyrics assert the culture and values typical of American street gangs and street hustlers. Many gangsta rappers flaunt associations with real street gangs, like the Crips and Bloods. Gangsta rap's pioneers Ice-T in 1986, and especially N.W.A in 1988 and the rise of Tupac Amaru Shakur in 1992. Hatchet House
Hatchet House is the sub-label of independent record label Psychopathic Records, based in Royal Oak, Michigan, Royal Oak, Michigan in the United States, which was formed in 2007 by American hip hop music, hip hop group Insane Clown Posse. History Hatchet House was created as a testing ground for underground artists, to see how the Psychopathic Records fan base reacts to them. The label may produce any genre of music. Successful artists on Hatchet House may eventually be signed to Psychopathic Records themselves. ''Blood In, Blood Out'' is an album by Axe Murder Boyz. Released in 2006, it is the group's first nationally released album, and their first release on Psychopathic Records. Conception Background Brothers James and Mike Garcia formed Axe Murder Boyz in 1999, naming their group after a lyric from the Insane Clown Posse song "Bring It On". After releasing a series of locally released albums on their own label, Axe Recordings, the Garcia brothers formed Canonize Productions in 2004.
