Godlen Masimla
Godlen Herschelle Derrick Masimla (born 11 August 1992 in Wellington) is a South African rugby union player for in the Currie Cup and the Rugby Challenge. His regular position is scrum-half or winger. Career Youth and Varsity rugby After appearing for the side at the 2010 Under-18 Craven Week tournament, Masimla moved to Johannesburg to join the side in 2011. However, after just one season, he returned to the Western Cape, where he played Varsity Shield rugby for in 2012 and 2013. He also played for the side in the Under-21 Provincial Championship competitions in 2012 and 2013, helping them two finals in each season and winning the title in 2013. Wellington is a town in the Western Cape Winelands, a 45-minute drive from Cape Town, in South Africa with a population of approximately 62,000. 2013 Under-21 Provincial Championship
The 2013 ABSA Under-21 Provincial Championship will be contested from 12 July to 26 October 2013. The tournament will feature the Under-21 players from the fourteen provincial rugby unions in South Africa. Competition Group A There are seven participating teams in the 2013 ABSA Under-21 Provincial Championship Group A. These teams will play each other twice over the course of the season, once at home and once away. Teams will receive four points for a win and two points for a draw. Bonus points are awarded to teams that score 4 or more tries in a game, as well as to teams that lose a match by 7 points or less. Teams are ranked by points, then points difference (points scored less points conceded). The top 4 teams will qualify for the title play-offs. The Stormers (known for sponsorship reasons as the DHL Stormers) is a South African professional rugby union team based in Cape Town in the Western Cape that competes in the United Rugby Championship, a trans-hemispheric competition that also involves sides from Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. They competed in the Super Rugby competition until 2020. They are centred on the Western Province Currie Cup side, but also draw players from the Boland Cavaliers (covering the Cape Winelands and West Coast districts, with home matches in Wellington). Super Rugby is a men's professional rugby union club competition involving teams from Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. It previously included teams from Argentina, Japan, and South Africa. This edition of the Vodacom Cup was played between fourteen provincial rugby union teams in South Africa from the Currie Cup Premier and First Divisions, as well as the and from Kenya. 2014 Super Rugby Season
The 2014 Super Rugby season is the fourth season of the 15-team format for the Super Rugby competition involving teams from Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
