God Of Happiness (film)
''God of Happiness'' is a 2015 German-French-Georgian black comedy film directed by Dito Tsintsadze and starring Lasha Bakradze, Elie James Blezes, Nadeshda Brennicke, Tina Meliava and Ufuk Bozkurt. Plot The film tells the story of a former film director Georgi (Lasha Bakradze) originally from Georgia who plays minor parts in crowd-scenes. He also earns money on the side as a pimp of Ngudu (Elie James Blezes) – his black friend whose clients are wealthy older women with tastes for BDSM. The two unsuccessful men are always short of money and live in a dingy apartment in an industrial area on the outskirts of Stuttgart. Ngudu uses magic to communicate with his mother, who lives in an African village. They have so little money that Georgi is even forced to sell Ngudu's beloved God of Happiness statue. Dito Tsintsadze
Dito Tsintsadze ( ka, დიტო ცინცაძე; born 2 March 1957) is a Georgian film director and screenwriter. He has directed thirteen films since 1988. His film '' Lost Killers'' was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival. In 2007 he was a member of the jury at the 29th Moscow International Film Festival. Starting from the year 1996 he lives and works in Berlin. Biography From 1975 to 1981 he studied film directing at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University under Eldar Shengelaia and Otar Iosseliani. Until 1989 he worked as an assistant director in the Kartuli Pilmi film studio. In 1990 he made his first feature film ''Guests'', then worked for the private film production company Shvidkatsa. In 1993 for the film ''Zgvardze'', which paraphrases the civil war in Georgia he received the Silver Leopard at the Locarno Film Festival and the Golden Eagle at the International Black Sea Nations Film Festival in Tbilisi. VIFF Vienna Independent Film Festival is an international film festival held annually in July in Vienna, capital of Austria. The festival focuses on independent cinema. History The Vienna Independent Film Festival was held for the first time on 4–7 July 2016 in the cinemas UCI Kinowelt Millenium City and CineCenter. Nadeshda Brennicke
Nadeshda Brennicke (born 21 April 1973 in Freiburg im Breisgau; also known as ''Nadja Therésa Brennicke'') is a German actress, singer and author. Biography Brennicke is the adoptive daughter of TV and voice-over actor Michael Brennicke and her mother is an art dealer. She spent her childhood in München. When she was 15 she left gymnasium when she was in the tenth grade and moved out of her parents home in hopes of becoming an actress. From 1989-91, she attended the Zinner Studio (today the International School for Acting and Acting). In 1992 she formed the singing duo ''Charade'' with Jennifer Böttcher, which was produced by Stefan Zauner and Aron Strobel of the band Münchener Freiheit. The singles ''All of You'' and ''The Colour of Your Eyes'' reached number 67 and 60 of the German charts.
