It was released to radio as the fourth single (music), single on December 4, 2007. It peaked at number 27 on the Billboard (magazine), ''Billboard'' Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, giving Ne-Yo his tenth top forty hit on the chart. Shaffer Chimere Smith (born October 18, 1979), known professionally as Ne-Yo, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, and record producer. He gained fame for his songwriting abilities when he penned Mario's 2004 hit " Let Me Love You". The single's successful release prompted a meeting between Ne-Yo and Def Jam's then-president Jay-Z, resulting in a long-tenured recording contract.
