"Go Away" (Korean: 고어웨이) is a song by South Korean girl group 2NE1 from their first studio album ''To Anyone'' (2010). The original Korean version was released as the lead single from the album on September 9, 2010. It was produced and written by Teddy Park, with additional Japanese lyrics written by Shoko Fujibayashi. The song was released in Japan on November 16, 2011, as the group's debut single for their first Japanese studio album ''Collection'', which was released on March 28, 2012. The song was a commercial success in South Korea, achieving the number one spot on both the weekly and monthly Gaon Digital Charts and was ranked the fourth best-performing single overall in the country in 2010. The Circle Digital Chart, previously known as the Gaon Digital Chart, is the music industry standard record chart ranking the 200 most popular singles in South Korea. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms. It is a part of the Circle Chart, previously known as the Gaon Chart. Lee Chae-rin (born February 26, 1991), better known by her stage name CL, is a South Korean rapper and singer-songwriter. Born in Seoul, South Korea, she spent much of her early life in Japan and France. CL trained at JYP Entertainment before joining YG Entertainment at the age of fifteen. She debuted and rose to fame as a member of the girl group 2NE1 in 2009, which went on to become one of the best-selling girl groups of all-time. YGEX is a Japanese record label. A subsidiary of the Avex Group, it is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. It was founded on April 12, 2011 by Japanese record company Avex Group and South Korean entertainment company YG Entertainment, and this is the first time that Korean entertainment company has established a record label in Japan. The label's name YGEX is a portmanteau of the companies involved, YG Entertainment and AVEX, and has two meanings: "EXPERIENCE" and "EXCLUSIVE".
