Go (1973 TV Series)
''Go'' is an American television series for children that aired late-mornings on Saturdays on NBC between September 1973 and September 1976. It had the shortest title for a TV series until V (1984 TV series), ''V'' debuted in 1984 on the same network. The first two seasons of ''Go'' explored various action-oriented occupations, showing what it's like to be a race car driver, a symphony conductor, or a bronco buster. For the third season, the emphasis shifted to the United States Bicentennial observance of 1976, therefore ''Go'' became ''Go-U.S.A.'' from September 6, 1975 until the series ended the following year. Rift Fournier
Rift Fournier (May 16, 1936 – October 6, 2013) was an American writer, screenwriter and television producer. Fournier, who lost the ability to walk at 17 years old due to polio, had a long and diverse career in television. He wrote episodes of numerous television series, including ''Baretta'', ''Charlie's Angels'', ''Highway to Heaven'', ''Hell Town (TV series), Hell Town'', ''Kojak'', ''Matlock (TV series), Matlock'', Charley Hannah, High Mountain Rangers and ''NYPD Blue''. Fournier was born in 1936 in Wichita, Kansas, and raised in both Chicago and Omaha, Nebraska. His parents decided to call him "Rift" after a dispute over what they would name their son. Fournier was acting and screenwriting at the Omaha Community Playhouse by the time he was 13 years old. He attended a Jesuit school, where he excelled as an athlete. Greg Morris
Francis Gregory Alan Morris (September 27, 1933 – August 27, 1996) was an American actor. He was best known for portraying Barney Collier on '' Mission: Impossible'' and Lt. David Nelson on ''Vega$''. Early life and career Born in Cleveland, Ohio, to jazz trumpeter Francis Williams, Morris served in the United States Army during the Korean War. While in college at Iowa on the G.I. Bill, Morris was active in college theater and hosted the late afternoon Jazz radio show, "Tea-Time", on the University of Iowa station, WSUI. He co-produced concerts at the university with a student friend. Morris began his television acting career in the 1960s, making guest appearances on numerous TV shows such as Alfred Hitchcock Hour, ''The Twilight Zone'', '' Branded'' and ''Ben Casey''. ''V'' (also known as ''V: The Series'') is an American science fiction television series that aired in the United States on NBC from October 26, 1984, to March 22, 1985. It is a continuation of the ''V'' franchise about an alien invasion of Earth by a carnivorous race of reptilians known as "Visitors", which was originally conceived by American writer, producer, and director Kenneth Johnson. Johnson, however, was not involved in the production of the weekly series. The United States Bicentennial was a series of celebrations and observances during the mid-1970s that paid tribute to historical events leading up to the creation of the United States of America as an independent republic. It was a central event in the memory of the American Revolution. The Bicentennial culminated on Sunday, July 4, 1976, with the 200th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence by the Founding Father delegates of the Second Continental Congress.
