Its seat is the town of Ząbkowice Śląskie, which lies approximately south of the regional capital Wrocław. The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2019 its total population is 21,775. Sadlno is a former village in the administrative district of Gmina Ząbkowice Śląskie, within Ząbkowice Śląskie County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Piława Górna (german: before 1928: Ober-Peilau, then ''Gnadenfrei'') is a town in Dzierżoniów County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, in the western part of the Wzgórza Strzelińskie hills. Szklary is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ząbkowice Śląskie, within Ząbkowice Śląskie County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.
