The Glynhill Ladies International (formerly the Braehead Ladies International) is an annual bonspiel A bonspiel is a curling tournament, consisting of several games, often held on a weekend. Renfrew
Renfrew (; sco, Renfrew; gd, Rinn Friù) is a town west of Glasgow in the west central Lowlands of Scotland. It is the historic county town of Renfrewshire. Anna Hasselborg
Anna Ellinor Hasselborg (born 5 May 1989) is a Swedish curler who is the 2018 Olympic Champion in women's curling, and a former World Junior Champion skip. In November 2019, she became the first curler in history to reign as the simultaneous holder of the European Curling Championship gold medal, the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship gold medal, and the Olympic gold medal. The 2019 Glynhill Ladies International was held January 17 to 20, 2019 at the Braehead Curling Rink in Renfrew, Glasgow, Scotland as a part of the 2018–19 curling season. The event was held in a round robin format with the top eight teams advancing to the playoffs. The purse for the event was £ 11,000. In an all Swiss final, Team Ursi Hegner of Uzwil defeated Team Elena Stern of Brig-Glis 5–3 to claim the event title. Elena Stern
Elena Stern (born 8 November 1994) is a retired Swiss curler from Zürich. Career Stern first represented Switzerland on the international stage at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics where her team of Michael Brunner, Romano Meier and Lisa Gisler won the gold medal. In 2014, she played in her first World Junior Curling Championship as the alternate for Corina Mani. They lost the tiebreaker 7–6 to Sweden's Isabella Wranå. She returned the following season at the 2015 World Junior Curling Championships, this time as lead for Lisa Gisler. Her Swiss team won the bronze medal. In 2015 she also played in her first European Curling Championship as alternate for Alina Pätz. She did not play in any games. Alina Pätz
Alina Pätz (born 8 March 1990 in Urdorf, Switzerland) is a Swiss curler. She currently throws fourth stones on Team Silvana Tirinzoni. She is a five-time world champion and was the alternate player for the Mirjam Ott rink, which represented Switzerland at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Career Playing as the alternate for the Ott rink, Pätz won a gold medal at the 2012 World Women's Curling Championship and a bronze medal at the 2013 European Curling Championships. Pätz also won a silver medal at the 2010 European Mixed Curling Championship (playing lead for Claudio Pätz) and a gold medal at the 2011 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship (with Sven Michel). Margaretha Sigfridsson (born 28 January 1976) is a Swedish curler who in 2009 was inducted into the Swedish Curling Hall of Fame. Curling career Early career Sigfridsson skipped the Swedish team at the 1997 World Junior Curling Championships, winning the silver medal. Sweden lost in the final game 11–3 to Scotland, skipped by Julia Ewart. Sigfridsson was the Swedish skip at the 2002 Ford World Women's Curling Championship. Silvana Petra Tirinzoni (born 25 June 1979) is a Swiss curler from Zurich. She is currently the reigning women's world champion skip having won the last three championships, in 2019, 2021 and . Tirinzoni also represented Switzerland at the 2022 Winter Olympics and 2018 Winter Olympics, after winning the 2017 Swiss Olympic Curling Trials. Heather Nedohin
Heather Nedohin (born Heather Godberson; July 15, 1975) is a Canadian curler from Sherwood Park, Alberta. She is a Canadian former and World Junior champion, two-time Tournament of Hearts Champion and a two-time World bronze medalist. She is married to three time World Champion David Nedohin. She currently coaches the Kerri Einarson rink. Career Born in Fort St. John, British Columbia, Nedohin's family moved to Alberta. Juniors Nedohin won her first and only Alberta provincial junior curling title in 1996. This earned her, and her Grande Prairie rink of third Carmen Whyte, second Kristie Moore and lead Terelyn Bloor the right to represent Alberta at the 1996 Canadian Junior Curling Championships in Edmonton. Binia Feltscher (born 13 October 1978 in Chur) is a Swiss retired curler from Flims. She was the skip of the 2014 and 2016 World championship curling teams from Switzerland. From 2006 to 2013 she was known as Binia Feltscher-Beeli. Career Feltscher began curling in 1989 and started skipping in 2007. Feltscher was the third of the Swiss team skipped by Mirjam Ott at the 2006 Winter Olympics, where she won a silver medal. With Ott, Feltscher won silver medals at the European Curling Championships in 2004 and 2005 and a bronze in 2006.
