Julia Glushko
Julia Glushko (or Yulia, he, יוליה גלושקו; born 1 January 1990) is an Israeli retired tennis player. She won 11 singles and 14 doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Her best results at a Grand Slam tournament were reaching the third round of the US Open in 2013, and the French Open in 2014 in singles. In September 2015, she reached the final of the WTA Challenger event in Dalian, where she was defeated by Zheng Saisai. On 23 June 2014, Glushko reached her best singles ranking of world No. 79. On 4 November 2013, she peaked at No. 109 in the doubles rankings. She won the 2011 Israeli National Women's Singles Championship. Lina Glushko ( he, לינה גלושקו; born 12 January 2000) is an Israeli tennis player. She has career-high WTA rankings of 272 in singles, and 408 in doubles. Biography Glushko's USSR-born parents Sergio and Olga, sister Julia, and brother Alex immigrated to Israel from Ukraine in 1999, one year before she was born. She graduated from Ironi Gimel High School in Modiin, Israel. She served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). She is the younger sister of Julia Glushko (10 years older), who was also a professional tennis player, and with whom she has teamed as a doubles partner. She was coached first by her father, and then by her brother. In September 2017, she won the inaugural Anna and Michael Kahan Family Prize in Ramat Hasharon, claiming NIS 100,000 in support; Glushko was able to use the money to purchase equipment and to travel abroad for tournaments and training camps. Glushko (crater)
Glushko is a young impact crater on the Moon attached to the western rim of the crater Olbers. Glushko possesses a relatively high albedo and is the focus of a prominent ray system that extends in all directions across the nearby surface. It has sharp, well-defined features that, combined with its higher albedo, are indicative of a relatively young impact crater. There is a small outer rampart, and material along the inner walls has slumped to form shelves and ramparts. There are three outward bulges in the rim to the north and northwest.
