Glow In The Dark (book)
''Glow in the Dark'' is a biographical photo essay about Kanye West's Glow in the Dark Tour published by Rizzoli USA on October 20, 2009. Authored by West, the book was designed by Base and features 400 exclusive images taken on the tour by Australian-American photographer Nabil Elderkin, who had previously directed several of West's music videos. The 9″ by 13″ hardcover book comes in a clamshell case and documents the Glow in the Dark Tour over 288 pages. It includes photographs of West on and off the stage, conceptual plans for the tour's set design and costumes, and exclusive commentary in the form of an interview of West with Spike Jonze Adam H. Kanye West
Ye ( ; born Kanye Omari West ; June 8, 1977) is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and fashion designer. Nabil Elderkin is an American-born Australian film and music video director and photographer, who is of Iranian and American descent. He is mononymously credited as Nabil in his videos. Elderkin has directed videos for musical artists such as: Dua Lipa, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean, John Legend, and Foals. Glow In The Dark Tour
The Glow in the Dark Tour was a world concert tour by Kanye West featuring Rihanna, Lupe Fiasco, N.E.R.D, Santigold and Nas. It began on April 16, 2008 in Seattle, Washington and traveled to Latin America, Asia, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia through to early December. The tour featured some surprise special guest artists, including Gnarls Barkley and Jay-Z. Chris Brown also appeared at some shows to perform his remix of "Umbrella" with Rihanna, and as a dancer for N.E.R.D. For the New Zealand and Australian leg of the tour special guests Nas and New Zealand rapper Scribe replaced Lupe Fiasco and N.E.R.D, as N.E.R.D toured these countries separately. Spike Jonze
Adam H. Spiegel (born October 22, 1969), known professionally as Spike Jonze, is an American filmmaker, actor, musician, and photographer. His work includes commercials, film, music videos, skateboard videos and television. Jonze began his career as a teenager photographing BMX riders and skateboarders for ''Freestylin' Magazine'' and ''Transworld Skateboarding'', and co-founding the youth culture magazine ''Dirt''.
