Gloria Henry (born Gloria Eileen McEniry; April 2, 1923 – April 3, 2021) was an American actress, best known for her role as Alice Mitchell, Dennis' mother, from 1959 to 1963 on the Columbia Broadcasting Company, CBS family sitcom ''Dennis the Menace (1959 TV series), Dennis the Menace''. Early life Henry was born Gloria Eileen McEniry on April 2, 1923. William Bendix (January 14, 1906 – December 14, 1964) was an American film, radio, and television actor, who typically played rough, blue-collar characters.
