Globen metro station is on the Green line of the Stockholm metro and the Tvärbanan light rail line, located by Globen in Johanneshov, Söderort. The station was opened on 9 September 1951 as Slakthuset station (named after an old abattoir around the area that has since been converted into a nightclub) as a part of the stretch between Gullmarsplan and Stureby. Gullmarsplan Metro Station
Gullmarsplan metro station is a station on the Green line of the Stockholm metro and the Tvärbanan light rail line, located by Gullmarsplan in Johanneshov, Söderort. The station was opened for trams in 1946 after the construction of Skanstullsbron, and converted to Metro usage on 1 October 1950 (on the first line from Slussen south to Hökarängen). On 9 September 1951, an extension south to Stureby was opened. The distance from Slussen is . Gullmarsplan is the busiest metro station in Söderort with 38,750 boarding passengers per day in 2019. Enskede gård metro station is on the Green line of the Stockholm metro, located in Enskede gård, Söderort. The station was inaugurated on 1 October 1930 as part of the stretch between Gullmarsplan and Stureby Stureby () is a residential area in southern Stockholm, approx. 3 kilometers from Skanstull. Slussen Metro Station
Slussen is a station of the Stockholm metro, located in Slussenområdet in the district of Södermalm. The station is served by the Red and Green lines. Originally opened in 1933 as an underground tram stop, on 1 October 1950 it became the terminal of the first metro line running south to Hökarängen, it was again rebuilt when the extension of the line north to Hötorget was opened on 24 November 1957. On 5 April 1964, the first stretch of the Red line, between T-Centralen and Fruängen, was opened. Just outside the northern entrance to the metro station, there is a bus terminal for buses to the Nacka and Värmdö municipalities. The terminus for the Saltsjöbanan railway was also located here, but it was moved to Henriksdal in 2016 due to the reconstruction of Slussen. Hovet
Hovet (formerly known as Johanneshovs Isstadion or, in English: Johanneshov Stadium) is an arena located in the Johanneshov district of Stockholm (Stockholm Globe City) which is mainly used for ice hockey, concerts and corporate events. It was opened in 1955 as an outdoor arena, however a roof was added in 1962, and the arena interior has also been a subject to major renovation in 2002. Island Platform
An island platform (also center platform, centre platform) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are popular on twin-track routes due to pragmatic and cost reasons. They are also useful within larger stations where local and express services for the same direction of travel can be provided from opposite sides of the same platform thereby simplifying transfers between the two tracks. Johanneshov () is a district in Stockholm located at the intersection of national road 73 and national road 75 in the borough of Enskede-Årsta-Vantör, southern Stockholm, Sweden.
