''Gli ordini sono ordini'' ("''Orders Are Orders''") is a 1972 Italian comedy film directed by Franco Giraldi. Plot Giorgia is an unhappy housewife tired of her marriage to her husband Amedeo, when she begins to hear a voice that orders her to perform out of the ordinary and transgressive actions. One day the voice orders her to go to the seafront and make love with a lifeguard. Confessed the betrayal to her husband, he puts her out of the house. Giorgia thus finds herself alone and has to reorganize her life. After visiting her mother, who advises her to return with her husband, she goes to live in a hotel instead. Here he meets Nancy, a researcher who works for an important record company, who takes care of recording traditional music with her own recorder. Giorgia later meets the artist Mario Pasini, falls in love with him, but soon their relationship also begins to creak and she hears her voice. On top of that Mario cheats on her with Nancy. Franco Giraldi
Franco Giraldi (11 July 1931 – 2 December 2020) was an Italian director and screenwriter. Life and career Born in Komen, Giraldi spent his childhood and adolescence between the Carso, Trieste and Gorizia. During the Second World War, still in minor age, he helped the Italian partisans. His first professional contact with the world of cinema was as a film critic from the pages of the newspaper ''L'Unità''. Later Giraldi had the opportunity to work as assistant director of, among others, Gillo Pontecorvo, Giuseppe De Santis, Sergio Corbucci and Sergio Leone. Shortly after his work with Leone in ''A Fistful of Dollars'' Giraldi directed his first Spaghetti Western, ''Seven Guns for the MacGregors'', released in 1966. Corrado Pani
Corrado Pani (4 March 1936 – 2 March 2005) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Life and career Born in Rome, Pani began his career playing the role of Jesus as a child in a Radio Vaticana radio drama. He made his film debut in 1953, with a minor role in Dino Risi's ''Il viale della speranza''. In 1955 he had first major theatrical role, in ''Thè e simpatia''. He later worked on stage with Luchino Visconti, Giorgio Strehler, Krzysztof Zanussi and Luca Ronconi, among others. Pani appeared in about fifty films; his last role was the judge in Roberto Benigni's ''Pinocchio'' (2002). He was also a television actor and a voice actor. Titanus Films
Titanus is an Italian film production company, founded in 1904 by Gustavo Lombardo (1885–1951). The company's headquarters are located at 28 Via Sommacampagna, Rome and its studios on the Via Tiburtina, 13 km from the centre of Rome. Lombardo ran the studios until his death in 1951. His son, Goffredo Lombardo (1920–2005) and later his grandson, Guido Lombardo have continued to run the company. The company has been responsible for hundreds of Italian productions. Titanus made many peplum films and comedies featuring Totò and Franco and Ciccio. Carlo Bagno (21 March 1920 – 19 January 1990) was an Italian actor. Life and career Born in Lendinara, Rovigo, Bagno studied acting at the Accademia Nazionale di Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico, graduating in 1941.
