Glenn Spencer (American Football)
Glenn Spencer (born May 1, 1964) is an American college football coach. He is currently the linebackers coach at Wake Forest University, a position he has held since 2022. Spencer previously served as the defensive coordinator and safeties coach at the University of South Florida. He played college football at Georgia Tech. Early life and playing career A native of Douglasville, Georgia, Spencer was a four-year letterman at Georgia Tech from 1982 to 1985, where he played defensive tackle. He earned a degree in management from Georgia Tech in 1987. Coaching career Early coaching career Spencer began his coaching career at West Georgia, where he spent seven seasons as the linebackers coach, before being promoted to defensive coordinator in 1997. Wake Forest Demon Deacons Football
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons football team represents Wake Forest University in the sport of American football. The Demon Deacons compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Atlantic Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach. Jeff Scott
Jeffrey Bradford Scott (born December 28, 1980) is an American football coach. He was the head coach at the University of South Florida from 2020 to 2022. Playing career Born in Arcadia, Florida, Scott later lived in Seneca, South Carolina and graduated from the Hammond School in Columbia, South Carolina in 1999. He played quarterback on the football team and was also an outfielder and pitcher on the baseball team in high school. Scott played college football at Clemson University under head coach Tommy Bowden. He lettered three years (2000–2002) as a wide receiver. An offensive coordinator is a member of the coaching staff of an American football or Canadian football team who is in charge of the team's offense. Willie Taggart
Willie Author Taggart (born August 27, 1976) is an American football college coach. He has held the head coach position at five NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision programs: Western Kentucky (2009 to 2012 seasons); South Florida (2013 to 2016); Oregon (2017); Florida State (2018 and part of the 2019 season); and Florida Atlantic (2020 to 2022). The 2019 SMU Mustangs football team represented Southern Methodist University during the 2019 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Mustangs were led by second-year head coach Sonny Dykes and played their home games at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in University Park, Texas, a separate city within the city limits of Dallas. The Ole Miss Rebels football program represents the University of Mississippi, also known as "Ole Miss". Lane Monte Kiffin (born May 9, 1975) is an American football coach who is currently the head coach of the Ole Miss Rebels. William Livingston Healy (born January 16, 1985) is an American football coach. He was the head coach at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina from 2019 to 2022. Brad Lambert (born January 14, 1965) is an American college football coach who is currently the co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Wake Forest University.
