Glenn Pennyfather
Glenn Julian Pennyfather (born 11 February 1963) is an English retired footballer who played as a defender or midfielder. He made 315 appearances in the Football League for Southend United, Crystal Palace. Ipswich Town and Bristol City before moving into non-league football with Stevenage Borough and Canvey Island. He is a former manager of Chelmsford City, becoming manager after being coach of the club, when he worked alongside long-time friend Jeff King after the pair had joined from a similar arrangement at Canvey Island. He left the club on 7 May 2013, after a decision was made to not renew his contract. His departure followed Chelmsford's Conference South playoff semi-final defeat to Salisbury City just days before. Billericay
Billericay ( ) is a town and civil parish in the Borough of Basildon, Essex, England. It lies within the London Basin and constitutes a commuter town east of Central London. The town has three secondary schools and a variety of open spaces. It is thought to have been occupied since the Bronze Age. Toponym The origin of the name Billericay is unclear. It was first recorded as "Byllyrica" in 1291. The urban settlement, which was within the manor and parish of Great Burstead, was one of many founded in the late 13th century in an already densely populated rural landscape. Jeff King (football)
Jeffrey Gregory King (born May 1959) is an English financier and association football manager. Life and career King, a former Canvey Island player, took over ownership at Canvey in 1992 and both managed and funded the club's progress through the divisions between 1992 and 2006, where he left them in the Football Conference. In 2006, King announced that he was terminating his association with Canvey and instead took over at Isthmian League Premier Division club Chelmsford City. During his time at Chelmsford, King managed them to the 2007–08 Isthmian League Premier Division title. He then reached the Conference South play-off semi-final in the following season.
